The K&N intake actually gave me 2 more mpgs. K&N drop in if youre not going to put a intake on it. You get some turbo noises when you floor it. If you want some nice whooshes you should get a open air cone intake but they are like $400.
I hope you are strong enough to make decisions for...
The install itself is not hard. Removing the overhead trip is a bit tricky and you have to be careful not to snap the clips. Getting the system to sit flush can be tricky too but if everything is done correctly it looks oem.
The camera itself is flimsy and you can tell that its cheaply made...
He seems to always be forcing his channel down our throats with every post too. Maybe I'll cross post this to the Type R forums before he gets there hahaha. Or better yet, I'm going to make a account with his old username haha
Yes both are made in China. Apple is apple and the chinese head unit is still a chinese brand. I wouldn't call my iPhone a chinese phone because its made in China. I thought people had more common sense in differences.
The whole piece comes off. you can use a pry tool and pop up the legs closest to you and see if you can get the buttons to sit flush.
I also want to sell my sirimoto crispy shift kit if youre interested. still in the bags.
Haven't gotten around to lowering it and don't have time to modify the car anymore. Located in Las Vegas. Can ship anywhere in the states. I go to Los Angeles sometimes and can deliver.
Prefer Venmo for payment.
thanks.
Take your car to the local car audio shop. Ask them to show you component speakers. Alpine and infinity make some good ones. Try running it stock to see if the stock headunit has enough amps to push it. For speakers, I would say anything over 100 watts is good. I don't know the speaker sizes...
My advice is to not get a base model. Or if you really want a base model and its not manual you should consider a Civic.
The ELS audio system is great. The subwoofer could use 100 more watts.
Thats my old car. BMW m240i. Same engine as the Supra. 3.0 v6 good for 300 hp stock. When flashed that thing puts down almost 400 hp.
Anyone can go fast in a straight line. I'd be more impressed in the twisties.
