this makes a lot of sense. I can see it being useful for inexperienced drivers. Although it’s been over a decade since I’ve driven manual, the first 1k miles in the ITS I’ve felt like I turned into a novice not being able to shift smoothly.
when I was parallel parked trying to get myself out of...
so if I’m understanding this correctly the clutch damper just slows down engagement of the clutch to reduce shock load and drive line when dumping the clutch. When we take our foot off the clutch pedal the return flood slightly impedes engagement? Don’t the torsion springs in clutch disk do the...
Looks good to me. People will always have color preferences so the main thing is that you like it. If you do want to go darker get the vinyl and then cut out the underlying background shape . Dissembling both emblems is a bit of work though
admittedly when I first purchased the car the PS4S seemed loud but every time I push the car through corners I’m instantly reminded of how fun it is. Although by this point I’ve gotten used to the sound and don’t mind. Once I throw winter tires on I’ll gauge the difference
I remember smelling it one time. But clutches need proper break in. Some of the performance clutches need 600 mile break ins but it’ll get smoother as you drive. Depending on driving techniques some clutches develop a glaze, but eventually that melts away
im sure it can be done. However, coding may not always be that simple, along with some skill in U.I design. Takes time and knowledge; it would have to be financially rewarding.
sort of like how we pay car tuners for their time and knowledge. But yes I agree having type R style display and HUD...
Doesn’t have to be an R to be red. Integra was the first “R” anyway. “S” is just Acura’s marketing brand version now for North America.
besides, they already gave ya OEM red calipers, red type S badges and red seats. You’re fine, looks good
just the reality, if we want fuel economy there are cars that accomplish that. Fun performance cars will definitely use more fuel.
that said,21-28mpg really is great considering many large engines can range 10-18mpg
engines typically have full oil before startup. Try turning it on and let the oil cycle and completely fill up the filter then turn it off and check the oil level again on flat ground.
on the other hand technicians tend to fill oilin bulk from a barrel instead of bottled with exact quarts...
I was curious about this. But didn’t see if it’s compatible with the DE5. I dont have an issue with the stock clutch, albeit got a lot softer after 2k miles. i wonder if thats because its fully broken in now. i do want a harder clutch and would consider the FK400 full face clutch later on
i prefer the alcantara, but figured I’d try the Vvivid vinyl wrap. It’s $10 and learn how to wrap since I’m looking to wrap some other trim pieces.
my shift knob was on so tight I nearly stripped the thread and ended up scratching the knob a little ?‍♂️. The tech that installed it must not have...
