  1. ITS/Type S Badge Enamel Pins - Anyone Interested?

Nice! Are you grading the pins or is everything going to be of the same "quality"? I know a few artist friends that do enamel pins and are obsessive over A grade and B grade due to being burned by extremely picky customers. ?
  2. DMV Owners

If having dedicated winter tires aren't for you, do some research into "all weather" tires. They are a different category of tire than "all season" and are designed to work in a wider range of conditions. They won't be as good as a dedicated set of winters if conditions are extremely poor, but...
  3. DMV Owners

I live in North Carolina, where I can typically get away with summer tires year-round. However, there are a few situations that get sketchy. On cold days (sub 40), the tires struggle to warm up. I've felt tires struggling for grip even in low speed sceneries like a U Turn. While this is...
  4. Honda fuel pump recall affecting Civics and Accords

Not exactly all hybrids, the recall appears to affect hybrid and non-hybrid engines. For example, the 23 Civic Sedan had a 2L and 1.5L turbo engines (non-hybrid). It's kind of odd that the recall is specific to the Sedan with the hatchback not getting a mention.
  5. ITS/Type S Badge Enamel Pins - Anyone Interested?

I'm a sucker for pins, I'm absolutely still interested.
  6. Honda fuel pump recall affecting Civics and Accords

https://hondanews.com/en-US/releases/american-honda-recalls-approximately-720000-vehicles-in-the-us-to-inspect-and-replace-defective-high-pressure-fuel-pumps Looks like Honda has another recall going out, this time for potentially defective high pressure fuel pumps. No mention of Integra...
  7. EPS GEARBOX ISSUE

According to one article I read, cars built after August 30, 2024 have the revised steering rack. Any car before that could experience the problem, though estimates put it at 1% of the 1.7M cars recalled. That's still a lot of cars that might exhibit the issue...
  8. EPS GEARBOX ISSUE

Glad it's finally officially acknowledged and bring addressed. Found the NHTSA page for this too... https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2024/ACURA/INTEGRA%252520TYPE-S/5%252520HB/FWD#recalls
  9. Blendmount Mirror Tap and/or Dongar USB Dash cam adapter

Since you have a Uniden R8 in a Blendmount... Does your radar detector vibrate and rattle while on the mount, especially between 2 and 4k RPM (and even worse on rough roads)? I'm trying to figure out what I can do to quiet it down.
  10. 24 Liquid Carbon Type-S Intro & Build

I like the look of that dash overlay, how hard was that to install?
  11. Any Regrets Tuning your ITS?

After doing the bolt on mod thing for my previous car, I've decided the ITS is staying stock, save for light appearance and quality of life items. At most I'll do an air filter to get more turbo noises. It was fun doing all of the things to my last car, but after the initial high of "look at...
  12. Wireless charging

I have mine turned off. Wireless charging is inherently inefficient, with that energy loss getting converted to heat. While low powered charging pads (think 5V, 1-2A) don't need active cooling, anything of significant wattage to charge a modern device will need some sort of airflow to keep both...
  13. CEL under @ 900 Miles

I got my car back today. It turns out the tech was right and the second issue was a result of human error. There are apparently 5 tabs on the bracket that is screwed into the fuel tank for the low pressure fuel pump. Since the assembly is installed at an odd angle, one of the tabs didn't seat...
  14. CEL under @ 900 Miles

Car has been towed to the dealer and now awaits diagnosis tomorrow. The tech that worked on my car has a hunch on what the problem is. Apparently the low pressure fuel pump is at an odd angle and a pain to install. He suspects the sealing ring may have become dislodged. It didn't cause an...
  15. Alternative mud guards? vs OEM?

I thought about going to RA when I got my ITS. I had a set on my Focus for over 10 years. They were extremely functional and did a great job blocking stuff from getting kicked down the side and back. After a few years of service they lost their shiny look and developed a semi-matter texture...
  16. CEL under @ 900 Miles

Welp, after about driving 30 miles from since I picked up the car, it threw another CEL. Tank was near empty (fuel light just came on), so I stopped to fill it up. I stopped at an auto parts store to see if they could pull codes and got P0455, evap system leak detected - large leak. I was a...
  17. CEL under @ 900 Miles

I got my car back yesterday. High pressure and low pressure fuel pumps replaced. Fingers crossed the issue doesn't come back...
  18. Alternative mud guards? vs OEM?

I believe the TypeS-specific mud guards are gloss black. They're molded to fit the TypeS side skirt and rear bumper. The mud guards for the ASpec are body colored, I believe. Here are a couple of pictures of the ones I installed on my car.
  19. CEL under @ 900 Miles

A bit too late now, one fuel pump ready replaced and one more to go... I'm glad I have a loaner (TLX ASpec), but I'm ready to have my car back.
  20. CEL under @ 900 Miles

No idea. I asked my service advisor and it wasn't something he knew either.
