mine makes noises too. you can try replacing the spring mechanism in the back. i plan on doing it to mine eventually. I think the springs can bend a bit, lose tension, and make noise. also, the indicate lubrication points on the springs in the service manual.
i do the opposite. 1st on a downhill, reverse on a uphill. probably makes zero difference but the reasoning I've heard is that you don't want the engine to spin backwards if it does roll. but i don't see that happening with our cars. not heavy enough. i think the tires would just slide...
had the PRL rear motor mount listed for a month with no interest so listed it on ebay. bids at $100 right now. great deal if you're interested!

$450 obo for the Ktuner and $150 obo for the PRL rmm. Price includes shipping.
Took these pics a couple weeks ago but haven't had any luck on...
mine kind of looked like that but i cross-rotated them and they wore evenly up to when i replaced them at 55k miles. they get a bit loud for the first 500 miles after cross-rotation but goes back to normal.
do you have a link to the tool you use to manually retract it? i need to do my brakes soon and I've never dealt with EPB before...probably going to need a guide.
i don't hear anything abnormal. I can barely hear it but sounds normal for these cars.
i think i can hear it in this video too, but more clearly. sounds like the dampers in the suspension.
also, don't drive like this guy just dumping the clutch pedal...
