A couple of comments after 1000 miles:
Likes: the doors have a small pocket just big enough for a 16 ounce bottle of water, or a small drink cup from a fast food restaurant.
I also like that the cup holders are depressed enough that a standard soft drink single serve bottle does not get in...
A trifecta of Honda and Acura manual driving goodness, reflected in the license plates. My NSX is a pop-up NA2, but I prefer the plate it already has. The ITS is an ideal daily driver for someone who has either a NSX or S2000 (or like me, both) and wants to have some entertainment with...
I am also 55 and bought an ITS in July. Just go enjoy it when you acquire it next year. I enjoy the pops, too. I’m going to keep driving manual cars until I physically can’t anymore.
I believe he's still a NSX owner. If so, he's now he's the third one other than myself, that I'm aware of, who has picked up an ITS. What is it they say about great minds? LOL
Another couple of comments.
I’m my third tank of gas. Gas light comes on with two lines on the fuel indicator. When I fill, it takes around 10 gallons. Total fuel capacity is 12.4 gallons.
I didn’t buy the car for fuel economy, but do note I’m getting around 23 mpg in mixed city and...
Enjoying the shifter. No rattles at a little over 300 miles. Clutch is nice and light compared to S2000 and NSX. What an excellent daily driver this is.
Thank you for the explanation. That's really helpful!
Fair criticism, and I'll take it. Genuinely not trying to offend. My first car with this feature, and my response was definitely off the cuff. For the record, I felt similarly about blind spot monitors when they first appeared. My first...
I’ve now had my Integra type S for about 10 days and I wanted to enter some comments about it. They will not be particularly organized as I've taken notes as I've gone along.
Background, I've driven and owned many sports cars, but never a FWD sports car. I mainly stick to the Hondacura world...
I was not one of the first 200. My sequence of events:
6/26: placed refundable deposit for ABP/black or PRP/black. Told at that time likely August-September timeframe or later arrival, and depended on production schedule. Was prepared to wait months.
7/8: I was advised that a red/black car...
I took delivery of my PRP ITS tonight, an hour before a major storm came though my area. I can confirm that PS4S tires are awesome in wet weather. Not even a hint of hydroplaning at freeway speed. It started hailing when I got home! Thankfully, just tiny hail, though.
Anyway, PRP looks amazing...
I am the person who posted a picture of mine on the truck. I can assure you that it is real, I sat in it, and I will be driving it home on Thursday, with more pics upcoming. Can hardly wait
My Red/black showed up at the dealer today, well ahead of schedule. I ran by to stare at it as it was fresh off the truck. I sat in it with 1 mile on it. Now awaiting install of various accessories, and I should be taking official delivery in the next few days.
I was at my local dealer yesterday. I was told to expect Performance Red, which I have a deposit on, at around the end of the month. Just adding my N=1.
