    Ordered from here: https://www.alldiscountparts.com/oem-parts/honda-light-foot-well-34750t20r01 None of it was too difficult. The one above the wireless charger was tricky getting the trim pieces back on. Otherwise it took around 2-2.5 hours to swap em out.

    Installed the civic type r oem ambient LED’s. There are 7 of them total inside the car.

    Mine had front end ppf and tints and I didn’t get charged any additional fees! I guess I got lucky….

    You are correct. The diameter of the collar is a smidge narrower. I have that part toward the front of the shifter so no one can see it.

    i do know that warm/room temp water freezes faster than cold water as there's more space between the molecules, cooling the water faster (crude explanation, but it's close, i think)

    Interesting... Car washes generally have heated dryers on the way out pushing water out from many areas. on top of the fact you probably drove back to your house where the radiant heat from inside the vehicle should be enough to dry some of the weather strip areas around doors and such. Also...

    Ah, that is a safety mechanism in place to prevent folks from locking their keys in the car. didn't realize the car had the feature. As one other member stated above, a faraday puch that actually works, will prevent the car from "seeing" the key and you should be able to manually lock.

    Could always disconnect the physical key from the fob housing, leave the fob in the car and then lock your car using the physical key. It’s not ideal, but it should work.

    Yes, it is super daily drivable. I drive mine in traffic often, dc area traffic… and the clutch in these newer Hondas are so forgiving that it makes it ok.

    That likely means it was all just snow. I can see snow that melts a smidge and freezes again over night could be problematic

    I haven’t driven the car below 30* yet but at those temps seem fine. Haven’t driven the car for about a week as the temps have been in the teens

    My dad is a master auto body tech. He used to complain about bmw build quality. Recently, he’s changed his tune and has said that bmw has some of the best put together cars these days, and their exterior panel materials are superb.
