  1. climate control problem: no heat

Yep, though I didn't forsee having HVAC and accessory issues 4 months into ownership. The lone local dealer said the ITS was difficult to get, but asked for a deposit with the chance they could do a dealer swap but we're very vague on details so I just took a 2 hour trip instead.
  2. climate control problem: no heat

Yeah the manager knew exactly when I talked to them, and even said they replaced one the other day (though he didn't say if it was warranty or not). But they said they sent it up through the chain and said either I scraped it or the dealership (2+ hours away that I got it from) did...
  3. climate control problem: no heat

Unfortunately for me there is precisely 1 Acura dealership within 30 minutes. The next closest one would be almost 2 hours away. I'm not even sure how this is possible still.
  4. climate control problem: no heat

I'm thinking it's just because I scheduled tonight after they closed and it was through AcuraLink. General heat issues have the flat fee associated with it. But I'm also nervous because they refused to replace the carbon fiber spoiler that has the same deteriorating spot as many others on here...
  5. 1to_TypeS - Tiger Eye Pearl (TEP) build

Had to chuckle at these last snow covered pictures. I don't brush anything other than the windows so my PWP ITS looks a lot like yours did there. Half covered in snow and ice. Was looking around for anything that could get snow off the body without scratching it...but I'm skeptical those...
  6. climate control problem: no heat

My '24 ITS will be fully warmed up, but heat won't come through the vents until I drive a street or two. But even when I'm stopping at a red-light for 30 seconds it goes right back to frigid air. AC is off, and I only started having this issue once it got cold (Upstate, NY). It's been in the...
  7. HVAC Issue?

So I've got about 4k on the odometer, and lately since it's been cold I'll usually let the car run for a few minutes (I know I can just cold start it and drive it gingerly for a minute and the engine will be warm). TLDR: the car will be almost fully warmed up (3/4 bars on the meter) and it will...
  8. Winter tires: 235/40-18 vs 245/40-18 vs 255/40-18

I got the 245/35 Vredestein's for my first winter with the ITS. Live in upstate NY so we get varying levels of snow. I've only so far driven in a few inches and they had good traction, no issues at this point. I'll update if we get a good snowstorm and I can take it out.
  9. Blind spot monitoring - overly conservative and useless

It's kind of annoying to me, my last car was old so it had none of these kinds of safety features at all. I'll change lanes and it goes off when I'm 4-5 car lengths away from someone and even though I'll look everytime it still kind of scares me for a moment like I missed something.
  10. Anyone having issues with carbon fiber exterior oem

Mirror caps are fine for me, but the spoiler has almost the exact same spot forming now as OP. Have had the car for nearly 3 months now. Never taken through a carwash hand washed only. I'm having a rim touched up by a local dealer in network (it's a Chevy dealer owned by West Herr, Acura...
  11. New Acura - Transmission break in

I've noticed it's become easier to shift after putting 1500 miles on mine. Unless it's cold then it's kind of stiff again til it warms up. Should get easier over time TLDR.
  12. My DIY Wheel Repair

Using the backup camera I literally just curbed the bronze wheels 2x as bad as the pictures here. I don't know why I trusted the camera because the last time I backed into a spot and per the camera I was lined up I looked forward and immediately knew I was pretty crooked. Alas the damage is...
  13. Wireless charging

Definitely pretty slow, but I don't really use it much. No reason to when a wall fast charger gets my S23 ultra up to 100% in what seems like 30 minutes or less.
  14. Wheel advice

Can't offer any advice or opinion here other than those are some sexy wheels. If they fit and you get them be sure to update this thread with some pics.
  15. Hi everyone! 2024 PWP

The dealership had never sold it previously but they did use it for test drives. They did an oil change when I picked it up and had it ceramic coated. I'm assuming the techs and sales people had a little fun with it. One of them in finance was a big BMW fan but knew every little thing about...
  16. CMBS and RDMS

I found it thanks to your previous comment! Stuff like lane keep is a good idea on paper but in reality when it takes away my control of the car when I'm just trying to merge onto the highway maybe over some dotted lines or go around something in the road it feels more disconcerting instead...
  17. CMBS and RDMS

I was searching yesterday for a minute in the infotainment. Thank you so much. I've never had a car with really any safety tech and honestly I find it either jarring or annoying.
  18. CMBS and RDMS

Thanks for the input here. I got nervous thinking the systems might randomly engage and brake out of nowhere or something. Glad to know in your case something similar happened and they still found the issue. Can I ask how long it took them to rectify it? Understanding my experience may vary...
  19. CMBS and RDMS

Scheduled as quickly as they could get me in on October 10th. I'll update then. Thanks.
  20. CMBS and RDMS

Well I've owned a new ITS for almost 2 months now (just made my first post here recently). All of a sudden today while picking up my daughter from school with nobody around me the dash gave me two messages. One was for the CMBS and one was for the RDMS (road departure) saying they needed to be...
