I wasn't sure if this was true or just my imagination but the ceramic tint on my DE5 definitely is easier to look out of than my other cars that had non-ceramic tint, some even with a higher %.
Knock on wood but this hasn't happened to me yet.
Wouldn't this damage the rotor at some point or is the rock presumably softer than the metal the rotor's made of?
70% windshield and 20% all around
here's what it looks like from the front - the photo is a bit misleading because the front tint is barely noticeable especially in direct sunglight. It looks much darker below than it really is IRL
I wish they had kept the mazdaspeed3 and offered a performance variant of the wagon.
Hell, they could AT THE LEAST offer the 6 speed with the 2.5T engine but nope - manual is only available for the anemic 1.8 base.
Also, Subaru's only bringing the STi back electrified.
that's why I thought it was odd. Someone on here said theirs didn't rotate either. I chalked it up to it being at 4k when I took it in but I was pressed for time that day and just hopped in my car and left after pick-up.
What intervals are you guys rotating yours? I'm at 4k right now but have had the car for a year.
I just had its first oil change, of which the dealership did NOT rotate the tires because they said it's not called for on the MM.
Wow. I'm in the 21-22 average but I only take the ITS twice a week to work and it's only 14 miles away.
On the weekends, I take the car out for fun so I'm definitely not easy on the gas then either. Kinda cool to see what kind of mileage this car is capable of though.
I had a Mazda before as well and maybe I'm spoiled like you because I didn't notice rattles on that thing even after coilovers and changing out the RMM.
I'll have to look into that shin etsu -- I typically just wipe it down with 303 aerospace protectant.
Yeah I've got that window gap too. Mine results in some shudder when I go over bumps.
I asked the dealer to check it out but they "couldn't replicate it" even though it was doing it on my...
I have a similar rattle over on the passenger door area but I had a worse ringing/rattle that ended up being the plastic trim behind the rear view mirror. When I press up on there, that noise stops. I figure I'd go in there and shove some felt tape or something when I get the fitcamx but for...
I agree with everything you said above and like @Victorofhavoc said, expectations need to be adjusted because at the end of the day, the car carries an Acura badge, not a Honda and that's where the expectations usually start -- that there's some level of refinement.
The irksome part for me is...
