  1. Shift knobs anyone?

If you have some on hand, electrical tape would be a good alternative as well. You shouldn't need very much but some trial and error will get you to the right thickness. I want to say I needed enough for about half the thickness between the collar's original, smaller diameter and the full...
  2. 2025 DE5 Shift Upgrades: Acuity Shifter, Titanium Knob & Rod, Chasing JS Boot Delete

Shifter mods are my all time favorite. I currently run my Acuity on the shortest throw with the shift height slightly lower than stock (setting 2 I believe). I countered the increased shift effort with a heavier weighted knob from Dream Automotive and it feels just *right*
  3. Shift knobs anyone?

I don't have a picture (of the method) but if you wrap some tape around the collar as Vic mentioned, it can take up enough space to reduce the slack. Best picture I currently have of the results.
  4. What enthusiast car do you think compliments the Type S well?

Funny you mentioned the F87 because a few members have moved from that car to the Type S, myself included. I keep going back to it as a potential second car though. However the Type S and M2CS are close enough in everyday performance that there's a strong overlap unless you're pushing limits...
  5. Which Acuity parts needed to just remove lateral slop on shifter?

The OEM boot is indeed designed with some forward lean to it, that's probably why you're having issues with the odd gears. If you reverse it you'll have issues with the even gears.
  6. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Oh yes, that was painted by a buddy using autobody paint (I don't remember the paint code), then I filled in the details with black and red enamel paint. One of my favorite pieces in the car!
  7. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

The alcantara? No that was the Overland Designs piece. All the other alcantara was by Aaron Shin over at Sweidet. I lack the skills to do alcantara lol.
  8. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Thank you, it was a surprisingly easy job, I recommend everyone jump on board! The HVAC pieces were a little more involved. I don't even want to talk about the vent surrounds...
  9. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Thanks! I used a Testors enamel paint marker in gloss red. I took apart the switch which is really easy to do. Once you get the switch apart, pop the middle cover of with a flat edged pry tool and a pick tool. That exposes the chrome piece which you then unhook it from the sides to release it...
  10. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

My quest to remove as much chrome as I can from the interior continues. Painted the chrome pieces in the steering wheel controls. Super easy to do and I recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a little bit of detail work.
  11. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

I figured I'd try this paint because I had it on hand. I don't have high hopes with it but I will experiment with color matches after it takes a little more of a beating in the future. Probably G2 paint or something similar.
  12. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

I'm genuinely not sure but we'll definitely find out how well it will hold up over time.
  13. What did you do to your Integra Type S today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Love McMaster-Carr and Zoro is my other go-to for supplies too. Back on topic, today I fixed my botched touch-up job on the front calipers. Paint used is Testors enamel gloss red, practically perfect match.
  14. Test drove a BMW M240i today

I'm assuming you drove the G87 M2 but the previous generation F87 is a more nimble and snappy car than its replacement, with the OG being even lighter than the Competition and CS models (though a little down on power). Despite this, ALL M2s (short of a CS R) are still, far and away, less...
  15. New Double Apex Blue Checking In

    Love the color, welcome!
  16. DSC Sport Suspension Module for our cars!

I believe we're supposed to swap the bracket over.
  17. $1,950 Below MSRP .. Got my 2026 Urban Grey ITS last weekend!

If I *had* to buy another one today, that would be the combo I would get. Congratulations to you and welcome!
  18. Even The New Prelude Has Gear Indicators...

I wish the gear indicator were more prominent like the Prelude's. I didn't realize the A-Spec doesn't have the indicator, that really makes no sense to me. While I do agree on getting the feel of the car to determine your gear, there are times 4th and 2nd can feel the same at speed, especially...
