Did you make them yourself? I am looking at tire covers for RVs and trailers in storage, and thinking whether they will be effective. Or the only way to go is custom made covers?
Thank you! Actually after my co-driver win, who thinks this car is a perfection and I don't need to change a thing about her, I am thinking more about staying in BS. So, I am shopping for forged 18 wheels, and all I can find even on Titan7 site for ITS has offset +45. I am not the smartest, but...
@Victorofhavoc
Just to confirm—warming tires isn't allowed in autocross, right?

Anyway, my stellar instructor/codriver took the CC09 class win today at the PCA event. He drove my car for the very first time today and was the only one in class running on OEM tires with me. Second place...
@mattm Looks solid, I like the black!

Post of shame time, honestly. I just got back from an SCCA autocross event, and on my second run, I asked a Honda Racing Team instructor to jump in with me. He literally yelled at me to stop pushing the clutch in while braking, lol. I didn't even...
Copilot generated an image of HRC Titan7 TS-5 18x10 +55 and Kumho V730 275/35R18 (I am looking for mid performance tires for my first months of learning FWD, and also Yokohama ones do not stand SoCal heat in summer), and I am completely sold. Brembo brakes just a cherry on top.
Guess, I'll go...
Thank you! Your car is gorgeous. I had to zoom in, it's just a perfection with both sets of wheels. Mine is never so clean, and it's black, lol.
Thank you for your advice and the warning about scrubbing. I might be overly cautious, but I think that might cause fire on track? Maybe I'm...
You're right about how they adjusted camber.
And thank you, I decided to follow your example. I plan to move to BST class. I am out of cash temporarily with this unplanned car purchase (I totaled my Camaro), so the next 2 AX events will be on OEM wheels and tires. I tasked the shop to find me a...
Finally got it to a shop today whose owners are autocrossers, too. Got this number before/after. Immediately felt it behaved differently in rear on freeways in curves. Like it wanted to oversteer or else. AX on July 11 and 12. Can't wait to see it in action.
Your hands definitely became better in slaloms.
Your course designer does a really good job with crossovers and other stuff. Very technical, I like it. I just singed up with SCCA to get coached and become a certified course designer. To make sure that those Toyotas in BS class are not...
Thank you, all! I technically finished 2nd in BS yesterday (I chickened out for the first event in a new car and registered for a Time Only group), but no Supras were present. The car in front of me was on 200TW tires 2026 Corolla GR. The rest of class ran stock, even a CTR. Thank you for your...
Whoa, thank you for sharing the video. 38 psi square, and i bleed some air during runs. And I chalk the triangles, so I don't go over. I used to have a square set of PS4S tires on my Camaro, and it lasted me 15-16 events. Interesting, that for FWD it is 3 times less. And I used to overdrive that...
Anyone is AX-ing their ITS? Wonder what is the tyre pressure you all run. Street stock Michelin tires. Elantra N yesterday advised 42 psi in front and 39 in back, which is a bit high, i think. I tried 38 psi square and it worked well. My first weekend in a new car. Transitioning from a RWD...
