Hello everyone,

Inspired by other journals here. This is for fun and sharing information for the community.

Came to a 2023 Integra Aspec 6-SPD from a 2022 VW Golf R 6-SPD.

Long story: I originally wanted and had money down for a Type S Integra but had to cancel my order once 4 seats were confirmed (must have 3 seats in the back - got 3 kids). Thought about the A-spec but found a MK8 Golf R for similar money. Drove it for 2 years and got hit by careless driver which caused a total loss (almost a 30k repair!!). Thankfully no injuries.

I didn’t want to go back to VW for a variety of reasons. Needed a car quickly, so found a used 2023 Integra A-spec in white with red interior. I had plenty of funds left over from the payout, which meant modifications.

The goal is to be OEM+. This is a daily driver through rush hour of Vancouver that I'm trying to make a bit more fun and mechanical feeling. No track for me.

Admittedly, I prefer cars that have a colour. So put bronze on the car to give it some warmth. The DWS06+ that these came with were okay, but the Conti ECS02 are much better.

A problem I ran into is that now that I can see into the stock rotors, calipers. I can't un-see how ugly they are. Paint the calipers? big brake kit? I don't know yet.

Don't have pictures of the Acuity shifter internals. This is great, highly recommend this short shifter kit. The biggest reason why I did not want to go back to the VWs - shifters were not great even after a Diselgeek mod.

Have it set to stock height, 3 for forward/back, 3 for side to side. It's been great for daily driving, and the shifts are so satisfying. I'm thinking of raising it a little bit higher than stock.

The shift knob gets pretty toasty in the sun, so I have an orphaned kid sock as a cover for now.

The piano black was trashed looking when i got the car and I noticed I was putting marks on it. The Synth Carbon overlay is decent.

Do you have any more pics of your wheels? Im looking at a set of wheels with your exact specs. Preferably side profile and 3/4 profile to see how flush it is?

Hope this helps. I quite like my fittment, not too aggressive but better than stock.

PRL High Volume Intake
PRL Carbon Fiber Inlet Kit

It does make better turbo sounds, but I wonder if I made a mistake as it isn't as loud as I was hoping for. Carbon fiber is muffles the sound more than titanium? But not sure if anyone can verify that?

To be honest, the inlet kit was 90% for aesthetics. The stock flat plastic was ugly to my eyes.

The intake itself makes up, I wanna say, 60-70% of the turbo noises. So you'd have to go short ram or cobra intake for more noises. Alternatively you could also add in a BOV for slightly extra noise but that comes at a risk of running lean as it messes with the ECU's reading of the amount of air the boost is taking in.

In terms of carbon and titanium, I have no idea.

How significant of a turbo noise did you notice with the inlet? I was planning on getting an inlet down the line, as well. Any noticeable difference in the low down torque?

Thanks for the reply. Will leave as is for now. Maybe the eventual tune will increase the noise.

In terms of the inlet itself, I wouldn't know as the inlet and HVI was installed at the same time. From that perspective, I do think there is a slight increase in response from the engine.

Don't think the low end torque changed as things don't really get going until 3k rpm+.

Did the photos of the wheel fitment help? Can take more if you want.

If you could send more pics of the rear fitment that would be great! But otherwise it's exactly what I was looking for 😁

Got the Remark Sport Touring (dual cannisters) in.

Installed a KtunerV2 w/ Phearable 1.5 race tune flashed.

Exhaust: first choice was the apexi n1x but it's unavailable at the moment. So got the remark. it's only got 200km in it, so I'm expecting it to change. it's slightly louder than stock which what I was looking for. It's quite deep in tone. The burbles are super faint. 3.5k rpm off throttle has drone.

Tune: took map 1 around the block. It's feels much more responsive . Not going to push it or do map 2 until after an oil change. Used car, new to me.
