Those of you in the Vancouver area should steer clear of Burrard. They tacked on $14K of stuff but even then their numbers didn't add up so I'm sure there were hidden charges.

A month or so ago I called Coquitlam and they seemed to think they could get one or two more before the end of the year. Try calling around even as far as Alberta, you just never know. Imagine the drive through the Rockies bringing the ITS home!

From the sounds of it, people in BC seems to have to deal with extras either on the fees side or have to order some sort of accessories. I am planning to get one or two items so that's not the issue, those "other dealer fees" is what i'm not looking forward to. Sounds like i have to drive out to GTA or Quebec to avoid that LOL.

I have my name on an allocation that's suppose to come in this week or next. Like i mentioned in my previous threads, i'm going to see if i can skip on this dealer prep. I just don't like the idea of getting nothing for my money. I'd be more satisfied if they just said straight up choose 1k worth of accessories because in my mind, at least i'm getting something out of it rather than the lot boy pealing off all the protective wrap.

Found out from my local dealer in Victoria that my chances of getting a car with my colour choices is not looking good and it will most likely be next year. I can’t wait that long so either I need to find a car at a different dealership or move to a different car (Golf R etc…). Pretty disappointing…
@Steve48 sucks about your lack of choices in Victoria area. Maybe you want to ferry to the mainland? From my memories of the forum posts, most BC area is getting allotment deliveries between Mar and June only if you've put down your deposit. So 1 or max 2 delivery time slots per year. So if you don't land your ITS, like you said, it's most likely next year. It does feel like dealers in BC has no say in what they get though color/ interior wise.

If you're looking at the ITS, there isn't that much out there with a stick that'll be easy to get without the wait. Not trying to convince you but maybe the wait is worth it whether that be an ITS, CTR or GRC. Good things comes to those who wait right? :D

Worst is when they tell you MSRP but tack on the fees at the last minute.

In the GTA, avoid any Dilawri affiliated dealerships(unfortunately there are many) for that reason. Total scumbags.

Uh oh, the dealership I'm going through is part of the Dilawri group ?

What gave you that impression? (Not questioning you, just curious)

Had a FL5 deposit at a Dilawri owned Honda dealership since 2021, promised MSRP in writing. When the car came, tells me the guy before me in line "backed out" then proceeded to offer it to me for 15k over. 15k included all maxed out protection plans and a 10k PPF job.

Had a DE5 deposit at another Dilawri owned Acura, exact repeat of the same when they got their first batch of them, except it was 8k over sticker with a 5k ceramic coating. I was second in line.

Never again.

Dilawri group also has an awful reputation in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. I suppose they get away with it because there isn’t a ton of choice.

I drove 2.5 hours away to get mine because the dealer here seemed so utterly disinterested in having a sale dropped in their lap.

If you’ve had a good experience with them so far, it just might be the exception to the rule.

Thank you guys for sharing your experience. @mango_banana i wouldn't go as far as to say i've had a good experience, it's been pretty meh so far. Asked them to keep me up to date but had to call or go in myself to find out that things had happened.

They are suppose to have my APB ITS in between the 9th and 15th of this month so i can probably say for sure whether it'll be good or bad then. I am going to try to talk my way out of a $800 "dealer prep" fee that they have on the initial offer sheet but from what @Er34er34 shared, that might just not be something they're willing to let go. I'll just have to wait and see. Unfortunately for me, driving 2.5 hrs in BC doesn't get you anywhere as there's only 3 Acura dealership in the greater Vancouver area. Sales guy told me that most things are up for debate so let see if he's right.

@Truemyth, APB ITS in Vancouver for May at Burrard Acura (Dilawri)???? That was the one I put down a deposit and was waiting for.

Read my post in the honest dealers thread. They added $14k for accessories and dashcam then refused to take it off saying they will not sell the car for any less. They have hidden fees no doubt as their numbers did not add up to what I got at Campus Acura.

Good luck and I hope you get treated better than I did there after 10+ years as a customer. Be warned, they will smirk to their colleagues after you leave. Seen it happen regularly over the years.

I went to Campus Acura in Victoria and was treated like a rock star. Literally. They offered to pick my wife and I up at the ferry terminal and when they heard we would have lunch before heading home, they had a list of restaurant recommendations for us. There was a small delay in paper work so they told my wife and I to go grab lunch first and put us in a practically brand new ZDX and told us to take our time if we wanted to sight see as well.

Thanks for the heads up @1derboy, i'm afraid i'm too close to the finish line now LOL, fingers crossed things will go ok. If not, i might have to post up in that other thread :D.

All but two Acura dealership in the Vancouver area are all Dilawri, they definitely got that market sewn up and pinned down for sure. At least good ones isn't too far way in Victoria and Kelowna i suppose.

I just heard from my dealer that the ITS price will stay the same but there will be a $999 admin fee added on. Colour fees also to increase. This is for an expected May delivery
That $999 admin fee can be waived. Majority of the dealerships in the GTA are marking up $500-$999, but there are some honest ones that are tacking on $0 dealer fee. I hope at the very least you're getting trunk and interior mats from the dealership for that markup

After I put down the deposit, I got a confusing text from my sales guy that the $999 was due to tariffs, but that he would "take care of it". I think he was actually looking at the website and noticing for the first time that Acura.ca (and Honda) puts $999 "dealer fee" right into their price breakdown after a build. Since they can't charge over MSRP, Acura gives them some pre-approved wiggle room.

The dealers "mandatory" fees which are actually $1300 include locking nuts, theft and windshield protection, and road hazard protection (rims and tires). Worth it?

At least they list out some tangible stuff, my dealer fee for is washing the car, detailing it, inspect it and fill up your gas tank which seems to me should be part of the freight and pdi. And then, they are charging me extra for the stuff you mention wheel nuts etc.

The sales guy is spewing non sense about the tariffs, that's not related to the dealer fee. If you're not comfortable with the mark ups, I'd walk out of the deal since the deposit is refundable. How long is the theft, windshield protection and road hazard protection for? For $1300 sounds reasonable only if you want it.

Were you quoted this dealer fee when you placed the deposit? You have wiggle room for argument. I ended up paying $69.3k out the door price including Type s trunk and interior mats.

Has anyone picked up a new ITS lately? It seems like Canada received most of the orders in the April / May batch but mine didn't make it. Hope that wasn't it for 2025!

Yeah definitely in the last 30 days. MY25 started pretty late so I wonder if they're switching to MY26 models for the summer/fall.
