Hey all. I recently got my car tuned by Jester through VtecSlayer and I noticed that the auto rev match seems to be much lazier. I remember from my FL5 ownership that those cars have a "comfort" rev match and "sport" rev match (and now my car seems to be closer to the FL5's comfort mode), so I'm guessing this can be manipulated via the ECU, but I'm being told that there's no adjustment for it and it's all placebo. For what it's worth, changing drive modes does not change it at all.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Is there any way to adjust this on the DE5 or is there indeed only one setting in our ECUs?

There isn't a setting to change the rev match via the drive modes in these cars - that's only in the FL5 which has settings of "comfort" and "sport" for the rev match feature. Similar to how you can adjust the suspension on our cars between comfort, sport, and sport+.

I'm curious about the difference in these settings in the Honda. Seems to me, the rev match feature is very simple and specific, so what is the difference between Comfort and Sport rev match modes?

In the FL5, "comfort" rev match is slower / lazier to blip the throttle, so it revs slower and smoother. "Sport" rev match is a faster and more aggressive blip of the throttle, which I prefer.

Sounds like someone went to the extreme in designing that comfort rev match mode. It seems that it needs to be fast to avoid getting ahead of it.
