Tail light replacement

Howdy everyone, had my car less than a week and accidentally put a crack in my taillight form a flying water bottle.

Does anyone know if the bumper needs to come off to replace the tail light or can it be done by removing the interior trim and releasing it. The only video i can find online is someone taking the bumper off.

I think i answered my own question the bumper does indeed need to come off unfortunately. Oh well guess i have an afternoon project.
