Steering wheel leather quality issue

With 900 miles, my steering wheel is starting to develop lines / ridges. Is anyone experiencing this?

Not that I can tell although when I push on it, there is no give at all. It's one of those things that one day it was there. What the heck moment.

Seems like the leather is bunching and slid. Maybe a failure in the glue?

OP I see you may be in Texas... are you parking the car outside a lot in the sun? Just curious if that might be contributing?

I do park outside in the sun during the day but I use a sun visor. Also just ran into the check engine light problem that others are experiencing. Might want to avoid the first year of the integra if you have not purchased yet. My wife reminded me that we also had her fuel pump replaced the first year that she owned her 2018 RDX (first year model).

I sold the car, but if anyone has the same steering wheel issue - acura will replace it.

I’m getting wrinkles on the left side. Not enough to bother me too much yet. But I do think it’s glue related when I apply pressure I hear an adhesive trying to stay bonded to the leather
