This just dropped today - https://www.facebook.com/share/14aaZBCkyPg/

In stock configuration, the 10th gen Civic Si produced 208 wheel horsepower at 6200 rpm and 203 wheel torque at 3200 rpm on our dyno. These figures give us a clear reference point for evaluating gains once the drop in turbo and supporting modifications are introduced.

On 93 octane fuel, the car produced 302 wheel horsepower at 6000 rpm and 319 wheel torque at 4100 rpm.

We then blended in ethanol using the PRL WiFi Flex Fuel Kit. The stock fuel system on the 10th gen can realistically support up to about a 30 percent ethanol blend before reaching injector duty cycle limits. Once ethanol content reached 26%, we performed another max power run. On E26, the car produced 324 wheel horsepower at 6500 rpm and 333 wheel torque at 4300 rpm, representing a 6.7% increase in horsepower and a 4.3% increase in torque over the 93 octane run.
I'd love to bolt this on but think it's a no-go on the CVT Lol

Doesn't say anything about available tune. Do they have one readily available? Pay extra for it? Do they have a tune for cvt? Or will we all have to find our own custom tuner?

No problem for the CVT, just tune accordingly. We will be releasing some content with this turbo on a CVT car soon!

Anytime you upgrade the turbocharger on this platform, custom tuning is typically warranted. PRL does not include a tune.

For CVT would you assume they'd keep the torque limited around 260, and powerband in the 4500 - 5200 range (even with the drop in turbo)? Running Phearable 1.5R now with full bolt ons which does this.

I just saw the charts pushing torque past 300, and have generally seen 260 referenced as the limit for the CVT.

Alright talked to Claude-

Basically sounds like we could still have fun with the drop-in turbo on the CVT. Would still tune to limit torque at low rpm., but the the hp boost would make the power band longer and more linear. This could actually reduce stress on the transmission while the increased airflow on the turbo could help mitigate heat soak.

Kind of fits the overall theme for me, going to plan on getting one
