Hi there, migrating here from the Civic XI forum... Unfortunately my '23 Sport Touring 6MT is no longer with us, and obviously that species is now extinct. That didn't leave me many appealing options, and I didn't have Type R money stashed, so here we are with a shiny new Majestic Black A Spec Tech with red interior. Can't say I'm disappointed... She's a whole other animal!
Bone stock at the moment, but I might start with some very light OEM adds like door logo projectors and door edge guards in the near future to get the ball rolling. In the meantime, I'm just soaking everything in. I'll admit I'm sloppy/lazy and a habitual engine-braker, so I really love the rev matching. I'm sure the longevity of my clutch will as well
. I'd love to look at tint shops, but PA state troopers give me a lot of hesitation - any thoughts there?
I had also recently had a high-end installer put an OEM+ upgrade in the Civic with 4 door Sony components, Infinity amp, kicker 8", and full laptop audio tune. Honestly, if the Civic's Bose had been as nice as the ELS I wouldn't have done it in the first place - but now that I have the salvaged gear, that will be getting integrated and re-tuned. A little more oomph added to an already good system never hurt anybody
. I trust my installer unquestioningly, but any helpful info I can pass along to add to any research they'll be doing?
