I have not taken my car in. Went to neighboring dealer for wife's Infiniti oil change. Walked over to dealership and told my salesman about it. He said it was "normal" and that the warning was advising that some features like radar cruise "may" not function properly in those conditions. Seems like poor technology to me.
Well it makes sense that if the cameras are off, that adaptive cruise turns off. I don’t use adaptive cruise, so that part isn’t what bothers me personally. But it’s the slight drizzle that causes the cameras to shut off in the first place, and I had the car for over a year before this started happening. I hope other people chime in with dealer experience, I don’t know how anyone expects the technology to get improved if nobody takes it in to be documented. I’ve had my issues escalated to the shop foreman because I’ve been documenting the message popping up when it shouldn’t, and then over and over in clear conditions.
Well that sucks. You should take it in. This isn’t normal.
