Storage space is pretty limited in the ITS. The grey Styrofoam storage tray that fits in the spare tire well of the ITS is quite poorly designed and does not optimize storage space very well. I found room on the floor of the spare tire well towards the front of the tray for a fire extinguisher, two bottles of water and an emergency blanket. I also put a towel lining the spare tire well to stop rattles of the stuff I put in there and it will also help with sound deadening. The tray can be reinserted and remains flat. There’s probably room to the sides for even more stuff. Check it out!

Nice find! We need to get a molded plastic or rubber tray to fit in there and add compartments where the foam was. I saw that and immediately thought it was a waste of cargo space.

As someone that used to take public transportation to work, that umbrella hideout spot is pretty handy.

This is not unique to the Type S. This is common to all of the current gen Integras.
I am planning on using a heat cutting wand to trim my styrofoam’s height since I recently bought a Modern Spare for my A-Spec 6MT.

The layout is different in the Type S since that area is smaller. Spare won't fit in a Type S

Good info here. There is no spare tire option available in the parts catalog for the Type-S. Base and A-spec trims, yes but nothing for DE5.
