Hey All, from research I've done it looks like the KTunerFlash V2 is what I'm wanting for better throttle response, and easy reset to factory if I need any warranty work done.

Questions: Is the install as easy as it seems? And I don't need to put the car on a dyno after the tune, correct? The fuel adjustments, etc are all handled by the Tuner, right?

Thanks for responding to my newbie questions!

No worries, it can be a little daunting at first watching the ecu being flashed. Just make sure your laptop is plugged in while you upload.

You can reset back to factory but the ECU will show that it was tuned. The dealer will void the power train warranty if they check on their scanner. There is no way to undo or hide it from them.

Yes you want a Ktuner for the 1.5t, Hondata is better for the Type S. Ktuner V1.2 and V2.0 will do the same thing, it just depends if you want to use a dedicated device with screen V2 or use your phone and/or computer v1.2.

Install is super easy. Just plug it into the OBD2 port and it'll software lock to your ECU. Install software on a computer and make an account. No dyno needed for remote tunes. You'll have to run 93 octane for best performance. Keep an eye on your stft and knck ctrl.

ENJOY!
