Hello Acura friends....just a music lover looking for some speaker advice for my pretty car. What kind of speaker/size/specs and amp should I get? I'll probably end up buying it online and hiring a private party to do the install

My advice is to not get a base model. Or if you really want a base model and its not manual you should consider a Civic.

The ELS audio system is great. The subwoofer could use 100 more watts.

Take your car to the local car audio shop. Ask them to show you component speakers. Alpine and infinity make some good ones. Try running it stock to see if the stock headunit has enough amps to push it. For speakers, I would say anything over 100 watts is good. I don't know the speaker sizes since the car is so new.

As for subwoofer, I'm against those unless you strap it down or permanently secure it to the trunk. 600 watts is good for a subwoofer. Go for JL Audio for a subwoofer or Sundown Audio if youre on a budget
