I returned to the Brentwood dealer on Saturday to select accessories. I was greeted at the door by the sales rep with a set of keys. he said " Be back in about thirty minutes, and don't hot rod it toooo much". An unescorted test drive...

So I began driving slowly to get a feel for every day driving. The car is so well behaved under about 3200 rpms. Very solid as before, but no rapid acceleration. Then I tried driving slowly in 6th gear. No lug, very smooth acceleration in 6th gear from 2000 RPM. Amazing, I thought that I was back in my dual clutch. Fascinated I tried stopping at a light without down shifting...I went to neutral at about 1800 rpm, but no lugging and no stall. I am so looking forward to exploring this machine.

One other comment and it concerns u-turns. Near the end of my test drive I made a u turn . No traffic and from being stopped. So, I stopped, turned the wheel extremely to the left and then accelerated mildly. The car suddenly turned left and was pointed as I wished in the opposite direction. , but did it darn quickly. Not complaining but odd- oversteer?

Love the car - fast or slow and can not wait for the first of August.

I finally test drove a Type S on Saturday. Loved how it would perform as a daily driver!!

I applaud you for test driving it. I just know that I want one and placed a deposit without a test drive. My first drive will be when I take delivery! Who else is with me on this?

Not sure if my dealer ever performed PDI on their demo. Maybe they arent making it ready so they can sell it as new? Either way no test-drive yet and I'm ready for ownership once the dang thing gets delivered.

In the case of the ITS, you're fine buying without a test drive. You can check ergonomics on a regular Integra, or a Honda Civic for that matter. Go for a test drive, see how they feel (without the high end performance). Tons of reviews online for both the CTR and ITS. History with the car, see how people like it after some time (previous gen CTR). Not much risk at all.

That's exactly me. I already have the A-Spec so I know what the interior looks like (obviously some colour and trim differences, but the location of everything is the same). Apart from the power, sound, and some slight dimension differences, I don't think I'll be ridiculously shocked by anything on delivery day.

That's prabbaly you feeling the LSD working, this car can pull it self out of a corner very aggressively when on throttle. It'll almost feel like torque steer but in the right direction.

Very detailed description. I did not explain it quite as well as you but I echo the same sentiment in slow and normal driving conditions. Best driving experience I’ve had in a long time. I cannot wait til sometime this year or some unknown date in 2024. Enjoy for the rest of us :)

I have been wanting this car for a year. I put down a 5 k deposit in March. The power to weight ratio was just what I had wished for. You will not be disappointed, it sounds so good.

5k deposit was that a requirement or you were just very certain you’d be buying the ITS?

Requirement- it represented the Market Adjustment or dealer markup. And I was certain I would be buying the ITS since the March announcement of the power train.

After careful consideration , I believe that you are correct...it makes sense that the LSD would create that type of movement.
