I honestly didn't but granted I live in Upstate NY and at the time it was winter so lots of dirty slush and snow on top of salt everywhere.
Pretty sure this is a fairly common issue with the car.
'24 ITS checking in...
Still give the car the look everytime I get out. So do a lot of people.
Side note in my area in 1.75 years of ownership I've still seen only 3 ITS at all. It gets looks everywhere.
Don't make me upset Acura 😂
I just hit 13500 miles and my rear pads need replacement in a month or less.
Service guy asked me if I was racing in my ITS.....it's a daily driver never tracked. I'll have some fun with it but far from abuse.
They also tried to get me to do a brake line flush.....at 13.5k miles and 1.5...
Well...I'm I'm upstate NY and we likely got 3ft of snow last night.
Cleared my whole driveway 4 hours ago and there's easily another 5-6 inches of more snow.
Took Peggy out for a drive to the store and she was fine. T/C off in neighborhoods for some fun, turn it on for main roads.
Run the...
Got the car back 3 days ago (early Thanksgiving surprise). It was literally just a software update, camshaft sensor was fine.
They did replace my battery due to failing some test, I've never had an issue with it prior and just tested it before bringing it in and it seemed fine.
The only...
Winter #2 for me, I also have the Vredestein Wintrac Pro's 245/35R19.
Last year in Upstate NY we got hammered with snow, and I routinely took the ITS in straight up blizzards and never had any issues.
Feathering the clutch and gas and keeping RPMs low/medium and I never found myself...
That hasn't happened yet, luckily my wife's SUV has the squishiest brake in the case it does though.
The worst was hopping in yesterday evening, reversing out of the driveway and putting the car in park (I was trying to go into the non existent 1st). Fun times, for sure looked like an idiot.
Yep...a bit of an oversight on my behalf. I didn't really think it would be an issue but over the 1.5 years I've had my ITS everything is booked out for a minimum of weeks at a time.
Hoping that they'll call me much sooner and say they got it done early. From the service bulletin if it is...
Well, I had it towed yesterday down to the dealership. It could be a while until I know what caused it definitively.
Because this is the only Acura dealer in a 2-hour radius they said they might not be able to even diagnose it until wait for it....December 1st.
They also had 0 loaners...
Unfortunately I've gotten in twice afterwards and the service engine light is still on along with rev match failing and emissions failure.
Air filter was changed about 2 months ago and is currently clean.
The P0011 code still present (3x)
Oil level is fine and clear.
Just gonna have to wait until Monday morning to call the dealership give them the code and try and get a loaner. Thankfully I'm 1099 so no boss, but I do typically drive all around my area meeting with folks, so this is not ideal at all.
Either Acura Roadside or...
I like it.
I'd love to put some JL W7's in mine like I had way back in the day (was in a '03 Buick Park Ave Ultra) but I actually need space back there these days.
Though later on in a different car I had just 1 Pioneer Champion and it hit pretty hard for a single sub. I miss those days, who...
Nope, bone stock.
A friend just came over and scanned it, 3 codes popped up. All 3 were P0011 but one was permanent and not clearable. Could just be a sensor, I had my buddy keep all the codes so when it gets down to the dealership they can diagnose it properly.
Back home, hopped in and just turned it on for a few minutes.
Only two things popped up, emissions issue and rev match system problems.
I wish I could've taken a picture of what popped up while driving earlier today because there were 4-5 things that popped up.
Service engine light is on...
I can only hope that's the case here and it's a quick replacement with the battery.
Had my inspection done not but 2 months ago and the battery was cranking out way more power than the recommended threshold.
I'll find out soon enough, appreciate the input!
