  1. Type S drivers mirror smashed….need nice aftermarket ones

Have you tried looking into Auto Folding route? You will still need mirror caps. https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/auto-folding-mirrors-installed.51336/
  2. Speedbleeder Recommendations

Not sure about A-spec. Maybe look for Civic Si. I am pretty sure it’s the same. I just bled my brakes on Type S using a break bleed pump. It was pretty simple doing it yourself.
  3. New dude here - looking for suggestions on buying an Integra Type S

I bought mine when they first came out in 2023 as a 2024 model. Before that, I emailed all the dealers in the Atlanta area to see what kind of markups they were charging—some were asking anywhere from $1k to $5k over MSRP. Eventually, I found one dealer who didn’t add a markup, but they required...
  4. Why did you choose a Type S?

I spent about 1–2 years in the market while daily driving a Mk7 GTI — my first manual car. I was initially looking forward to the Mk8 GTI or Golf R, but the interior design and interface were a letdown for me. For my next car, I wanted something that was genuinely fun and engaging to drive. I...
  5. Spare tire kit?

How well does it fit under the floors cover in the trunk?
  6. WELCOME DOOR LIGHTS

I just wanted to share that I installed the Logo Pattern Projectors along with the Illuminated Door Sill Trim when I was putting in the folding mirrors, and it was really straightforward. The door panel comes off easily, and all you need to do is drill two marked holes in the plastic molding...
  7. Auto Folding Mirrors installed

    Highly recommend aspherical mirrors.
  8. 16k Miles and already need to change brake pads!!

I'm curious if using the auto hold function might wear out the brakes more quickly. Since I do a lot of city driving and rely on that feature a lot, it’s something I’m thinking about!
  9. 16k Miles and already need to change brake pads!!

My dealer mentioned the same thing when I had about 17k miles. I decided to replace them myself, and it ended up being about 2.5 times cheaper! I was pleasantly surprised to find that the pads still had plenty of life left, but I went ahead and replaced everything anyway.
  10. Auto Folding Mirrors installed

You actually don't need that canbus adapter! I got one but decided not to install it.
  11. What is this called?

I’ve also seen that in the manual, and I find it quite absurd. Handles are designed to be pulled. This whole thing is like how companies advise against using Q-tips in your ears.
  12. What is this called?

So, do the replacements fall out as well? Mine keeps coming loose on the passenger side, which is pretty frustrating for a $50k car.
  13. Auto Folding Mirrors installed

I definitely recommend upgrading to convex mirror glass—it's an enhancement you'll notice every time you're on the road! I went with Suma, and I'm really happy with it.
  14. Auto Folding Mirrors installed

to relearn the auto-up function on your Honda or Acura window switch, simply open the window completely, then press and hold the window switch in the "up" position for a few seconds after it closes all the way. This will help the system learn the right travel distance for the automatic feature...
  15. Auto Folding Mirrors installed

No rattle at all! In fact, the slight rattle I had in the passenger door before the installation has completely vanished.
  16. Auto Folding Mirrors installed

The switch in the picture above is from the kit, and I just finished installing the passenger side. Everything is working great, so it looks like both sides need to be in for the mirrors to function. What a relief! Now I just have the puddle lights and illuminated door sills left to install...
  17. Auto Folding Mirrors installed

I am still trying to track down the folding issue, and I've taken a look at the window switch to check for the folding chip. It does have a chip, but it looks a bit different from what I found online. Has anyone encountered something like this before? Thanks for your help!
  18. Auto Folding Mirrors installed

Just to clarify, when you say "door switch," are you referring to the window switch and mirror switch, plus an additional button for the folding mirrors? That's the setup I just installed, and I wanted to check if all the wiring is good by toggling that button to see if my single folding mirror...
  19. Auto Folding Mirrors installed

I'm in the process of installing kit C and was wondering if the mirror folding feature only activates when both sides are completed. I've only finished the driver side for now and would love to test everything before tackling the passenger side. Everything else seems to be working perfectly...
  20. Engine bay side panel covers

I'm curious about the purpose of these covers. Are they just for looks, or do they actually improve performance in some way?
