I replaced mine with a same sized forged and they weighed about 7lbs less which isn’t definitive but suggests the oem’s aren’t forged.
I doubt anyone at this price point routinely uses forged wheels other than a special edition or something.
Does anyone know whether the sensor part of the TPMS is separate or able to be separated from the valve stem that they come with?
Reason for the Q - Wheels I’m looking at come with valve stems, much better looking than any rubber or even the oem sort-of metal looking ones. I’d rather keep the...
It's funny, of all the forums I've been on (GT350, E46, E90, S2000, etc) the widely accepted belief was to stay within 1%, maybe 2% max of overall aspect height which 275/30's certainly do. I'll prob go that route when I need tires.
It seems nearly everyone here insists that you should run...
I have MBP and think it looks great - as someone said, it looks mean! I originally wanted LC and had a deposit down in April 23 and I passed on 4 cars b/c the dealer never got one in the 1st year. I finally gave up and took MBP/Red in Nov!
I'm in FLA so we don't have snow, slush, salt, etc...
$4-$5K is probably a stretch, but if it matters to you, in 3-4 years, a one year “newer” car will always be worth a bit more than an older one.
Most sales or trade ins are based on a reference source that will always value a later model year more.
Doesn't sound like what they'd be what you're looking for since it seems like you want something semi-permanent BUT after using towels, etc for years after going to the gym, I got these and they're perfect for throwing on when you're sweaty, dirty, etc. They fit great, stay in place and can be...
I agree. I'll prob just wait until they make it back to Florida. Tampa, Orlando, and Miami are all within a couple hours. Like you said, I'd rather leave knowing everything is ok.
Weird question, but can you show up with just the ECU and have it flashed? I'm acutally going to be in Nashville next weekend and couple theoretically just bring it with me on the plane (coming from FL).
Fitment look excellent and I love the style - more subdued than some of them out there. I think the APR looks a bit ridiculous on our cars with it's windlets.... I just don't know how I feel about textured flat black as a finish. Are the logos baked into the design or optional?
My thoughts exactly. I’ve never had a rock chip on a roof or truck, so I just did full front. If I could stomach the $5-6k, I’d have considered the stealth on my black ITS. Like you said, no one admires PPF and other than keeping the chips down, adds no real resale value.
I agree. I love the cleaner, more subtle look to this vs. the boy-racer, overdone look of the APR but really don’t like the clash of the texture/finish. Prob looks better in person but it looks cheap to me…..and I hate logos.
Definitely post after the springs. I have a set of the H&Rs I haven’t installed yet and I’d love to see how it looks/works with those wheels. Offset seems pretty spot on.
Completely disagree. Look at the examples posted. The same car in 2 different lighting scenarios looks like the windows are practically 0% limo tint in 1 pict vs mildly tinted in another. There’s no way to replicate or even convey the lighting conditions - especially in a picture.
I did...
Agreed. I think they’re excellent. The majority that complain can’t/don’t drive beyond these seats capabilities anyway. They just want the visual cues. I ran an S2000 numerous times at Sebring and Homestead with stock seats and while there were many things I could do to be a better/faster...
