use floss/fishing line and slip it around the backside of the emblem base. Using a sawing motion you'll cut through the adhesive holding it on. once you get halfway through, you'll have to start from the other side as there are 2 small posts that attach it to the trunk, mostly for alignment...
You can I'm sure, in my opinion, you could use a hairdryer to soften the adhesive and an exacto-knife to cut the vinyl our around the emblem.
but with everything, you do so at your own risk.
The front one is a lot more involved. There's no 'easy' way to do so. here are the official instructions to replace the front badge

There are multiple videos on YouTube that could help with the removal of the bumper. Its...
Well the badge is around 55$ at some dealer ships If you wanna try yourself. Or be very precise with an exacto knife, cut around the emblem, then use a heat gun on low or a hair dryer to soften the glue for the vinyl and then peel it away. Just a thought.

Easy to clean! The "weave" isn't an issue. It's molded. You can vacuum up lose dirt and wipe them down, and if needed a soft "stiff" brush for anything thats stubborn. I feel you could even pull them out and hose them down if needed.
I always daydream about what sounds would be best in cars, night driving, long hauls, summer time, etc.. I have an extensive list of music on Youtube i've sorted throughout the years.
When i picked up my car, i had this que'd up on my phone for my first track

have photos of the unboxing, how they...
just installed something dumb/fun - My son loved them when i had them in my former Grand Am GT (RIP) so im test driving these for a while.
It would be fun if i could connect them up to the Drive mode to match the colors.. some cheap GoVee LEDs from amazon
Thoughts? Opinions? hate mail? :)
Mine arrive tomorrow, i'll see if i have the same funky smell and crease issue
edit: of course i say this and shipping is now supposedly delayed till 4/7..
any possible clearance issues when closed? i assume not, but just a question of caution. how much force is required to close? i can see someone pulling the hood down, the struts providing resistance and someone bending their hood.
can you post images of it at night? my google-fu is failing me and only see the "project integra" video that showcases it, but it doesn't do it justice.
