I installed the Civic Type R mount today. The shifting is noticeably less notchy. Didn't really get to WOT mid RPM band but will tomorrow or this week.
Noticed ZERO additional vibration. Even with the AC on. The engine might sound a little louder?
My 2026 Aspec Tech mount did NOT have that...
With that slightly larger +40 offset (factory is +50 on the 18 x 8s) vs even 18 x 8.5 +45 (offset I'm looking at for a different set of wheels), do you have any issues with rubbing or wear?
I'm about to purchase these same exact wheels in the same exact size, but with tires "Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus" instead. Your pictures helped make the final decision ... so thanks for that,.
I assume there's no rubbing or anything.
I agree. Comfort Mode (or Comfort Mode suspension in Independent Mode) would be perfect for highway cruising in a long straight line. But yes, the handling characteristics are noticeably worst with Comfort Mode suspension.
When you say "The front and rear tower struts did the most for cornering...
Do you happen to know why there's that little notch in the bolt hole on the CTR stock mount? Does the CTR have a special bolt with a notch at the top to fit in that groove?
On my 2018 Civic SI that I'm about to sell (The Integra is the replacement), I don't know if it's the full combination or which components skew the results ... but the combination of the Civic's strut tower brace, upgraded rear motor mount, camber ball joints (-0.9 fronts, -0.7 rears), and...
So now there's a huge twist to this whole RMM scenario on a 1.5t Integra.
I filtered for my car "2023+ Integra A-Spec" on the Unity Performance store and, according to the store, the Civic Type R mounts will fit the 1.5t Integra Aspec. The COBB and even the Civic Type R OEM mount itself is...
I Google searched and forum searched but couldn't find the info.
Does anyone know the camber for a 2026 Integra Aspec Tech? Front & Rear. If caster and toe are available, that would be great, too.
For those using the Wunderladen RMM, which bushing stiffness did you get? Street (75A) or race (90A) .
I have an Aspec 1.5t and remember the improvement replacing the RMM was on my Civic SI 10th gen. That and lightweight wheels, the car was planted. I installed the Hardrace RMM, which was...
Perhaps an easy way determine their general enforcement would be to call different Honda and Acura dealerships and talk to the service managers, asking if they've experienced customer cars' drivetrain issues being denied warranty work by Honda or Acura .... and if so, what issues and were those...
That is correct. As far as I understand, dealerships have to submit claims to Honda before warranty work can begin. I ran into this with my 10th gen SI. At almost 100k miles, I had an issue with a half shaft. The dealership checked with Honda and Honda approved the warranty repair. I purchased...
I didn't answer my own question. The question is how in depth do they have to go to "prove" the mod caused the drivetrain issue. If the dealership says "the intake caused the engine to fail because the car wasn't designed for that intake" to me, that's not enough proof. But to a lawyer or judge...
The "Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act" is supposed to force car manufacturers to prove a modified part caused failure of another factory part directly associated with that modified part.
The question is ... how much of a stickler can Acura be over this, and how much must be proven?
Let's say there's...
Thank you. Those are nice gains for just intake and intercooler w/ charge piping.
I'm happy with just keeping the temperature in check and maybe just adding an intake system.
I wonder if the Type S intercooler would fit on the regular 1.5 Integra (as in, the stock charge piping would be the...
Just wondering if there's an update to this.
I don't have the Type S (I have the 6-speed Aspec Tech) but was considering JUST putting the PRL intercooler on without any of their charge piping or high flow adapter. It's way easier. I was going to install the PRL high flow intake (with cold air...
