  1. CVT for 2023 Integra !?

I never said it was the base model. It had a 140 HP engine and the EX had a 127 HP engine. It had leather, which you couldn't even buy in any Civic. My wife didn't want the Si. You can think what you what. I know what I bought and why I bought it. Like I said, best of luck with your...
  2. Acura Integra Interior Leaked!! Via: DerpHound01 on Instagram.

Good luck with your Integra purchase.
  3. CVT for 2023 Integra !?

I am moving on. When I bought my 1997 Integra GS, it had a different interior design, better engine and you couldn't get leather in a Civic, so quite a few better features and differentiation. I am not months behind. Just because you are being an apologist for Acura's lame attempt here...
  4. Acura Integra Interior Leaked!! Via: DerpHound01 on Instagram.

I don't think changing the interior to match the design of the RDX/TLX would raise the price $4,000, since they could just use the parts out of the RDX parts bin, rather than the Civic parts pin. Also, they already are using the 8DCT in the CDX, so how expensive is it to put it into the Acura...
  5. Acura Integra Interior Leaked!! Via: DerpHound01 on Instagram.

We expected more because of what Acura has been saying since the revised RDX came out. They were going to better differentiate Acura (wood was real wood, metal was real metal, the RDX was a "new platform", the TLX received a DWB front suspension, etc.). Maybe you missed those discussions?
  6. CVT for 2023 Integra !?

Ah, no. This isn't genius. This is being cheap. All the marketing hype about better differentiating Acura from Honda pretty much flew out the window. The is pretty much an Acura Civic now. My only hope is that the Type S is good, but my hopes are very low and I need to start looking elsewhere.
  7. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

I would bet the tire sizes will be the same as the Civic/Accord. 235/40R18 for 18" wheels and 235/40R19 for 19" wheels. The Type-S might go wider depending on the output of the 2.0T. I mean doesn't the Type R only have 245 wide tires?
  8. The New Integra was never meant to be "Retro" Says Acura

I think it really comes down to weight or LB/HP. I went back and looked and my 2010 TSX was 185.6” long, weighed 3470 LB and had 201 HP. Handling was not the greatest, even though it had DWB upfront. If Acura can keep the weight of the Integra around 3150LB and give it 210 HP with a DCT, I...
  9. The New Integra was never meant to be "Retro" Says Acura

Hah, that is weird. When I look at the Accord tech specs on their website, it says 196.1. Maybe they don’t know. ?
  10. The New Integra was never meant to be "Retro" Says Acura

Sorry, I think you are right. I got my info from Edmunds, which must be wrong. Honda’s website says 196”. The 1.5T EX that weighs only 3220 LB is even more impressive then in weight reduction.
  11. The New Integra was never meant to be "Retro" Says Acura

I believe the Sedan only comes with a CVT, so the 3077 is with a CVT. Maybe Acura can keep the weight around 3100-3150 LB. I think the Accord is 192” long, so the Integra would be 6” shorter. The Accord EX weighs around 3200 LB, which is pretty light for its size.
  12. The New Integra was never meant to be "Retro" Says Acura

I know I am over-reacting on the size, but the hatch being 179” long, the sedan 184” long, means this is 186” long. That too me is too large. I believe that is pushing the same length as the old TSX, which I’ve owned a 2010 TSX before, so close to the same size. Either way, I will drive one...
  13. The New Integra was never meant to be "Retro" Says Acura

The hatchback weighs more than the sedan, so now comparatively speaking, its going to weigh even more yet. Bigger on any dimension, means heavier. The Type S better be impressive, or I might have to go German again.
  14. The New Integra was never meant to be "Retro" Says Acura

Yeah, not too happy about that revelation. I think the sedan is too big. I was hoping this would be the same size as the hatch. Bigger means heavier and if they stick in the Si engine, way too heavy for 200 HP. I want something no bigger than the hatch, with more power.
  15. 2023 Integra Colors Preview Video: Red, Blue, White, Black, Gray, Orange

I really like the Boost Blue and Thermal Orange. Delete the graphic and add some gloss black side skirts and it would look much better. A Boost Blue (or Apex) with red leather in the Type S would be my choice.
  16. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

So the A3 does have 221 lb-ft of torque, yet weighs ~3300 lb and has a 7-speed DCT, the 0-60 is supposedly 6.6 seconds. So if the Integra weighs about 3100 lb, 8-speed DCT with 200hp and 192 lb-ft, it should be competitive. Better if they could squeeze 210hp/200 lb-ft out of the engine.
  17. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

I agree. While I wish they started with a de-tuned 2.0T, the 1.5T was pretty much a given with a $30K starting price. Hopefully they can bump the output some like you said (210-220), but I bet it is gonna be 201 HP, which is probably okay with a DCT, but not ideal. I think the problem with...
  18. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

What is wrong with the chassis? Haven’t really read any complaints about the Si or Type R having poor handling. in fact, Savagegeese think the hatchback is outstanding.
  19. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

I agree it is a very clean design. Nobody is buying cars now and moving to SUVs, so they can't go crazy on the price. The big unknown is the auto transmission. If they put a CVT in it, I think that would be a very major mistake. DCT or regular auto is needed.
  20. New Acura Integra Prototype Revealed! Priced ~$30,000, 1.5L VTEC Turbo

Savagegeese gave the 2022 Civic Hatchback a very glowing review, which I imagine this will drive even better than that, so it has very good "bones" on which it is based.
