I guess some dealers didn’t realize they needed to do anything. So they never placed orders and therefore received 1-3 random allocations. Usually not matching any preorders just due to statistics of combos.

These days a lot of cars are tuned to run 87 or 91/93. Ford eco boost for example advertises hp numbers at premium but you can put in 87 with a loss of hp. Acura says use 87 but you can use premium. It’s different than back in the day when the RSX type s HAD to have premium.

Yep, they have to have orders for those 4. Which are the first 4 the dealer ordered based on reservations. It should be the first 4 reservations they got in, but some dealers have ordered them out of order.

I’d image dealers will be getting this confirmation soon. Mine ordered on March 14th. So they were very early.

He followed up saying delivery is usually a couple of weeks after build starts. So mid June she should be here. And I’ll get my VIN when the build starts.

My dealer just messaged me. They got build dates for their first batch of reservations!!! Mine is June 1 - June 5. The other preorders have similar ranges, up to around the 7th.
