Just got confirmation that my Tiger Eye pre-order should arrive around 7/10. Acura of North Austin (formerly David McDavid) are sticking with MSRP + Tint, wheel locks, all-weather mats and cargo tray, which they were transparent about since orders opened. Very pleased.
That timeline makes sense, thanks for sharing. Based on the Savagegeese review, Acura is apparently doing batches of 200 (someone correct me if I misheard that) of a single color, then switching. So, it seems like white and blue were first, then possibly black, and maybe Tiger Eye after that...
I'm curious if anybody with a pre-order for Tiger Eye has received a build/delivery date. I've been harassing my dealer since I received the email from Acura, but haven't gotten any info out of them yet.
They've definitely been tiptoeing around committing to MSRP, so it sounds like we've been getting the same kind of treatment. I'm still somewhat expecting them to try to slap on some ADM at the last minute. We'll see, though.
Got an update for the list.
Sterling Acura in Austin is doing $3k ADM and a $2495 "protection package" that includes almost nothing of actual value.
Also, David McDavid is now Acura of North Austin. Might explain the MSRP commitment, because they had a well-deserved negative reputation while...
Diarrhea makes sense, too, I totally see it. Still doesn't mean you need to behave like an angsty teenager. Just let people enjoy what they enjoy, it doesn't affect you in any way.
"BUt I haVE to lOOK aT iT anD it MakEs mE pHYsicAlLY ilL, hYURRRr!!1!1!!"
Oh, nah I totally agree. It's very reminiscent of vomit, that seems like objective fact. I just don't see the point in roaming a forum for a car you've already committed to not buy just to poorly articulate your own insecurities in the form of cliche opinions and negative comments.
Please tell me where I, or anybody else, made the assumption that nobody else will be cross shopping those vehicles. I'm just stating my own reasoning for why those cars don't make sense for my own personal needs, and that's how I'm interpreting others' statements. I see no reason to not cross...
Same here. The Supra, regardless of all the hate, is an objectively great car and is extremely fast for its price, but I need usable back seats, and the manual cars are selling for around $70k currently. It's looking like the Darkhorse is going to be somewhere around the $70k mark as well, which...
Whelp, that's the last time I ever watch any of Raiti's stuff. Dude's pretty obnoxious as-is, but the skeezy will-they-won't-they shit he just pulled is another level of cringe, even for him. Seems like he's just banking on being the only one putting out ITS content at the moment, even if it's...
