Does the type s have the oil temp gauge as well that is just not used in the software or is the k20 that they make in the acura plant not given one at all and just given a block off plate or something?
Since I’ve been driving the type s it has always been at 4 ticks on the coolant temp gauge, even on 90+ days. I’m just wondering if it is a real temp gauge or a dummy gauge like the oem temp gauge in my Miata’s, cause those gauges don’t tell you shit till you’re already overheating. I do...
Just did my first couple of real pills in the car, only going to 6.5k rpm as the max for now, but damn! This thing is quick! I’ve only done a max of 75% max throttle and the car just gets up and goes no hesitation. I plan on taking this to the dragon next week and now it’s got me worried I’m...
Just since others around me that have bought new cars have had break in periods of 1000 miles or so. But those were german cars so I guess that might be the difference?
I've been consistently getting anywhere from 28.7-29.5 mpg in my type s depending on if I am having fun in sport+ or driving leisurely in comfort. I still haven't found a use for the normal sport mode...
Yeah. I remember hearing everyone talking about how they were getting like max 250 miles and I just didn't believe that since my x5 has an estimated 19mpg combined and I was able to get 25mpg combined on my commute and 18 when towing
Did my second fill up yesterday at the gas station that I get gas at all the time since premium is cheaper there ($3.69/gal). I usually use a $50 to fill up my cars and I never have to go back in to get change but now I have. I had a little less than one gallon of fuel left since I had 26 miles...
I'm at 700 miles and its starting to get really hard to hold back the urge of hitting redline and seeing the boost gauge read 23psi. Should I wait till around 1000 miles or should I just gradually increase the load.
Also, how long does it take for the oil life gauge to go down as mine is still...
I think everything is fine as there is no squeak when I press the brake pedal. Any way to possibly prevent this without trying to avoid running over every pebble on the road (impossible)?
On my morning commute I noticed a horrible squeaking noise that was coming from somewhere around me, and then realized that it was most likely a rock in between the rotor and the dust shield since my dad had the same thing happen with his M2 and the squeaking sound from that instance and my car...
Interesting. I think its just your nose getting used to the smell after you drive the car a handful of times. I normally don't smell it too strongly after I've been in the car for like 5 minutes, and I usually get hit with the new car smell the hardest when I first open the door. I'm not too...
I think it might just be you because I can definitely smell the new car smell in my car, but then again I have only had it for 4 days. A friend of mine said it has the classic new honda smell that he remembers from the 90's
One thing that I thought was funny with the car is when you use the lane keep assist but don't touch the steering wheel for a minute it will turn the car into the oncoming lane of traffic after the "steering required" message flashes for like 45 seconds
Well, I picked up the car today and the only thing that I can say is that I LOVE IT! Drove to Atlanta with my dad to pick it up Saturday and the drive there was relatively good for it being Atlanta. Once we got there they had a white ITS out front and a black TLX Type S in the lot as well. After...
