I think youāre right; tune is the way I think Iām leaning although, I am curious about these pedal mods. Iāve never heard of such a thing so going to look into them even if just to learn.
Yeah I bought as my daily and didnāt want to bother shifting in traffic. I have a 100 mile round trip commute three times a week. My partners brother is big into Miataās so currently we are looking for a project (MT) weekend toy.
That was the only worry of mine was that trans temp and the...
Itās as if it thinks your hand is in the way so it backs back down; like elevator doors do. Canāt say it is or isnāt the tints but unfortunately may have to bite the bullet and have the one window redone to prove/disprove the dealer :/
Im
thinking that because with the cvt the shifts are simulated, I would need a special tune to allow the rpmās to drop quicker than they do/Eli are fake gear hang
Iām going to do some more research on this tune and hondata specifically. I think the Type-S will be but a dream though with anticipated markups and assumed msrp. I may go more power for that kinda money but down the road
Iām just unsure of the safety of my CVT. Folks are saying it canāt handle the higher Tq figures a tune could produce. I was looking for a tune mostly to increase throttle response time and reduce any hang when paddle shifting
Shout out to all folks on here who have their cars tuned, both CVT and 6MT, Hondata or Ktuner:
are there CVT tunes available currentl? If so, how has yours held up/would there be any concerns for the CVT over the 6MT? Seems all with the 6MT have had nice success and fun has been had but few...
I have an ASpec tech with cvt so my tuning potential is limited. Really waiting for aesthetic and handling mods as well as interior goodies to come through other than the OEM offerings. It hung for an āemblem-lessā front grill (retaining the sensors though) and some rear diffusers and side...
So gross. The cars that you can get for msrp at nearly 70k makes the crazy ADM valuations look so dumb. I guess some folks want their Hondas though and will pay the price. I just want a fun and reliable car and for +50k, there are so many (subjectively) ābetterā cars to be had
Was hoping they were making up figures for msrp already too. I would never pay a dollar over msrp for any car. ADMs on non-limited edition vehicles is asinine.
I hope they price it competitively and right around the Type-R. More than Iād say 1.5k over Type-R MSRP and I will have to pass.
driving my current integra for nearly a year now, the fenders, air ducts and other aero components, exhaust, etc are appealing but anything more than an 8-9k bump for...
