Yep. Basically exactly what I'm looking for. I've never had luxury cars, (GTI, Mazda 3, Mazda 6), so even the basic luxury features of the ITS sold me.
Not a fan of the red interior so my options were limited closer to me. It's not too bad only a little over 5 hours and can work on the break in period during the drive.
Glad you raised this point. I’m going to NJ next week to pick one up and driving it back looking at temps we’ll be right around the 40 degree number Michelin notes as the base operating window. Do you think there’s any concern for doing the drive back in that weather? It’ll be garage stored when...
This is the car I'm planning on having for at least 10 years (barring any major mechanical issues). Also, in a MK 7.5 GTI now, so 0-60 isn't remotely my top priority. I want something light that I can throw around corners and hammer on/off ramps.
Car needs to be new. Manual. 4 doors. Sports-ish related. I previously had an order for a CT4V BW, but nearly 70k for a car I had to baby in the winter months (NE living) didn't seem logical as it'd have to be my daily driver.
Have been looking at getting a new car for well over a year now. Decided back in the fall that the ITS was what I wanted. Have a dealer fairly close to me selling at MSRP and in a spec that I like. I have a bill of sale but for some reason getting the initial wave of buyers remorse before I even...
Congrats. They asked me about it back at the beginning of February, but I'm trying to hold firm for the right color combo. I wonder if someone's going to buy that white demo one they've had since the summer.
I talked to someone named Adam at Acura of Rochester last week, and they'll come off any markup or add-ons immediately if you say you won't pay that. They don't have a color combo I want, but I've been getting regular calls from them trying to offload their Black and White ones they currently have.
The S3 was also in my consideration
Golf R was what else I considered, as I currently have a 7.5 GTI and I just couldn’t do the new infotainment and haptic wheel controls. AWD in the northeast would’ve been nice, but the Golf R Reddit is full of people complaining about infotainment issues and...
Agreed. I know most dealers like to sell locally, but one a few hours away has the exact spec I want and it’s been sitting on their lot for over 2 months. I told them I’d be down there the next day to buy it at MSRP and they won’t sell to out of town we for less than 5k markup, claiming it was...
Is it just the winter downturn or something else that's causing so many to be sitting on lots? My local dealer who I'm on the waitlist with has had a Black/Red one in stock for a couple months. A few of the other dealers within a few hours of me, also selling at MSRP have them sitting on the lot.
Sounds good. That's what I was hoping that a video walkaround and pictures would suffice. I haven't traded a car into a dealer since CarMax/Carvana came around, but does a valid offer from them provide any additional leverage for value?
What's the process/protocol for trying to lock up a deal with a non-local dealer? I have a trade in so that complicates things a bit, as I'd rather not drive 6 hours only to have them low ball the trade offer.
This is almost exactly what i was hoping for from the stock wheel. A thicker, flat bottom wheel with perforated sides. Did you do the install yourself? Curious how the process was the Revesol site says they doesn't include install guide.
