Understandable.
Iâm curious what seats Acura will use in the ITS. If we look at the TLX, the Type-S uses the same seats as the A-Spec, but with an adjustable bolster.
I would be really happy with Acura used the TLX seats in the ITS (I find them to be really comfortable.). I sat in an A-Spec...
Really looking forward to the reveal. Hoping my dealer doesnât pull some kind of $10k ADM BS on the the ITS.
I really like my TLX, and donât think the ITS will be nearly as âluxuryâ as the TLX, but the more functional cargo are, bigger backseat, and more powerful engine paired with the...
What problems does a sunroof create?
My 15 year old Civic Si had a sunroof, and never had an issue with it. On hot summer days, itâs great to vent it when you park your car to help deal with the summer heat a bit. Also, if youâre cruising with the rear windows down, venting the sunroof prevents...
How much do stamping dies cost?
Theyâre having to make new injection molding tools for the front and rear fascia, and those are easily over a million dollars each.
Ooof, thatâs unfortunate that you had to be in loaners for that long. Iâm hoping that wonât be my experience with Acura (my previous Hondas have served me well, but with all the tech in modern cars, it can be a crap shoot).
You likely hated it because you had the loaners for what, a day or two?
When you live with it for months and get used to how it works, itâs very intuitive. Itâs great having everything at your finger tip on the center console.
Having said that, I think the best implementation is a scroll wheel...
My guess is the CF spoiler is a dealer-add on.
Itâs like that for the TLX A-Spec & Type-S. The normal spoiler is gloss black, but you can get a dealer-installed OEM carbon fiber version of it if you want.
The ITS made an appearance at a C&C over the weekend.
Not anything different than weâve already seen before, but itâs still nice to see some more photos of it out in the wild.
I have a 21 TLX with that steering wheel, and itâs a fantastic steering wheel. I like the flat bottom design, itâs nice and meaty while still being very comfortable to hold, and the buttons are definitely nicer than the ones on the Civic/Integra wheel (soft, squishy button presses vs. hard...
I remember seeing your post on Reddit, and was really impressed at all the sh*t you managed to fit in the Integra.
Glad to hear youâve been happy with the utility of the Integra so far.
I understand itâs personal, but IMO the exterior of the TLX is better than the current Integra . I donât care for the current front/rear fasciaâs of the Integra, they just look too basic/simple. The TLX also has a better presence with wider front and rear fenders.
Having said that, the Type S...
Iâm looking to get some feedback from Integra ownerâs thatâve had their cars for a while now, lived with them, taken them on trips, etc., with regards to the hatch/cargo area.
Howâs the actual cargo capacity? What all have you fit in the trunk? Do you leave the divider in or take it out to fill...
Here my random, uninformed take on the ITS as a current 21 TLX owner, as I wait to get more info from Acura/my dealer:
I expect it to be more than the CTR, probably in the upper $40k price point.
I would expect the same paint colors as current Integra, with the addition of Tiger Eye Pearl...
Iâll be at Sebring next month for the IMSA race, and fully expect the ITS to be on display there like it was at Daytona.
I donât expect it to look any different than it did at Daytona, but it will be nice to see it in person, and Iâll be sure to get some images of the car.
I think the ITS will have leather (or at least leather with micro suede). Iâd be shocked if it didnât honestly.
Heated seats, hopefully ventilated seats. No sunroof. Probably no heated steering wheel (I really like this on my TLX now that weâre in winter). Same door panel and center console...
Having a subtle splitter from the factory like on the TLX Type-S, coupled with the revised front fascia of the ITS, would look really good.
I put a Type-S splitter on my TLX A-Spec, and it does look good.
Hoping the changes made to the ITS make for for a more aggressive looking design...
Hondaâs official reveal (where they gave us performance and pricing specs) of the CTR was very close to when cars started showing up on dealer lots, so I wouldnât get too discouraged.
My guess would be that ITSâ will start showing up not too long after the official reveal. Now, when that is...
I doubt theyâll be doing custom orders, itâll likely be all allocation at first just because of component availability, so your options are what the dealer gets from Acura (the good news for me is that mine is the biggest Acura dealer in the area, so they should get a decent allocation).
As far...
