Cutting the original lugs is a bad idea and a great way to end up with stripped lug nuts. It would be best to replace the lugs with aftermarket, shorter pieces instead.
What do you mean by "comparable set"? I believe the manufacturer of the wheels is Enkei, but I doubt they make an aftermarket wheel that looks the same as the OEM wheels.
Enkei generally keeps a separation between their OEM and aftermarket offerings. It's too bad you can't just fit the ITS...
I remember hearing the last gen Mustang GT had reliability issues with the 6mt transmission unable to handle the power. Of course this doesn't mean every 6mt Mustang transmission will fail. But the failure numbers in otherwise fairly low mileage and stock 6mt Mustang GTs was a bit shocking. Is...
My understanding from the various comparisons I've watched is the ITS seats aren't nearly as bolstered as the CTR seats. They're not bad, but they're intended to be more for street driving than tracking.
That being said, I get the feeling you can still use them for track days without much...
Makes me wonder if this will show up in subsequent years. Both Honda and Acura love throwing additional features in along the way, we just never know what or when it will show up. I'm personally hoping the ITS gets a power passenger seat in 2025 or 2026. I remember when the 2004 TSX came out: it...
This is entirely right. As other folks are indicating: it is possible to do. However, legally you would get in a lot of trouble if someone was sitting in that middle seat and was injured or killed. The car was modified to hold more passengers than it was legally intended for and there are no...
That’s just it. I was wary of the options I was adding. I wanted to know what one would run me, configured the way I wanted. I could’ve calculated MSRP myself by just going through the numbers, but the “contact your dealer for pricing” tells me finding one at MSRP might be hard.
Edit: I may...
Out of recent curiosity, I built one on Cadillac’s Canadian website. It was all great until it came to the price and all it said was “contact your dealer for pricing”. If the manufacturer isn’t even willing to provide an MSRP on their site, it tells me that thing is going to be crazy marked up...
Do you NEED a car right now? If not, don’t stress. I get the feeling the ITS may very well end up going like the original RSX-S. They sold an insane amount in the first two years and then sales absolutely plummeted. We are in an age where the manual transmission is considered a downgrade by the...
Something to add to the discussion is the F80 also weighs 400 pounds more than the ITS. It’s not an insignificant amount of weight.
BMW pisses me off these days though. I entirely agree the F80 is a sexy car but I don’t have the courage to buy a BMW without warranty. I personally considered the...
If the data here is to be believed, it is very interesting to say the least. I’m glad no one is paying 10k+ over MSRP. It really is hard to find the value in the car at that price point. I see there’s an uptick in the 7-9k range and that has me thinking the markup was probably $7500. It’s steep...
I see no issues with your response. People tend to really analyze cars completely different from one another and ultimately both of you may have a point. I’ve entirely stayed away from Porsche except when I was flirting with the idea of picking up a Cayman S. Part of it is related to the old...
I’ve long been debating picking up a 400+ hp toy car and came to the realization that I prefer to drive a slow car fast, as opposed to driving a fast car slow… while still going the same speed in both cases. While I can stomach getting the occasional big speeding ticket, it’s the demerit points...
