  1. Anyone having issues with carbon fiber exterior oem

No thats how much they go for on Honda’s dream accessories page. Will see what dealer says.
  2. Anyone having issues with carbon fiber exterior oem

5 day stretch of no rain in the forecast so I ran the car through the touchless car wash. Dammit while applying ceramic spray wax I noticed this defect on the driver mirror. Looks like an unscheduled trip to the dealer. $612 btw
  3. Anyone having issues with carbon fiber exterior oem

Yep, $969 requires drilling holes in deck lid and metal shavings in cargo area. Mirror caps still seem ok. How long is the warranty on dealer installed accessories ?
  4. Type S versus new Model 3 Performance

My dad turned 80 recently and has sold off his cool old collector cars and purchased a model X. unfortunately I was not asked which do you want to inherit the Fairlanes? The Merc? Or a Tesla…?
  5. Acura dealership loaner.

Sub ā€˜loanerā€˜ for ā€˜rented’ : There's a lot of debate on this subject - about what kind of car handles best. Some say a a front-engined car, some say a rear-engined car. I say a rented car. Nothing handles better than a rented car. You can go faster, turn corners sharper, and put the transmission...
  6. Is the type s able to run on 87?

My dad never put premium fuel in his 2006 Acura MDX. It’s still running around with 230,000+ on the odometer. That said I don’t always follow Dad’s advice and give my rides the good stuff.
  7. Sunshade

Also a nice accessory is the shifter hoodie. The titanium knob looks cool but can brand the shift pattern to your palm on summer days.
  8. Sunshade

The Acura branded sunshade is very snug. It does cover the windshield corner to corner which makes it fiddly to fit. It is also bulky which in turn makes it difficult to fold without hitting your passengers when tossing it into the rear seat. That being said it does a good job keeping the...

  10. New Car!

Congrats. I finally saw a Tiger eye ITS yesterday, the first and only lTS I've seen all winter down here in Naples. I had a deposit on a Mazda 3 hatch manual poly gray w/red interior but my dealer never found one in my spec. I’m glad because I’m happy with the Type S. Can recommend...
  11. Hill Start, Hill stop, E-brake

Not a fan, I learned the old fashioned way of balancing the car using the brakes, clutch, and throttle dance. I was teaching my oldest daughter to drive a manual. I got her a new beetle with a manual transmission. The clutch in the bug was as light as the Integra. We were practicing hill starts...
  12. New owner perspective on the ITS vs your car history

    My thread: https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/%E2%80%9824-its-a-long-story%E2%80%A6w-pics.51471/
  13. TuxMats?

I have the tux mats for my ITS and they are very nice. But I’m kinda liking the contrasting red on black of these...
  14. Anyone had the paint issue with the bronze wheels?

I noticed when I swapped over to my Continental DSWs to the stock gun metal Honda Enkeis the bronze was just on the face of the wheel and the barrel faded to a silver gray. For the price they are asking it should be bronze all the way through.
  15. Is it as cool as I think it is?

yeah it’s cool! Itā€˜s a manual transmission sport sedan with a usable rear seat. Yes rear climate control would be nice. Memory seats would also be great for the rare times my wife would drive my car. Oddly she hasn’t driven the ITS yet, maybe all my years of picking on her driving has finally...
  16. All About That Intake -- List of Air Intakes for Integra Type S

Damn that GruppeM is too pretty to cover with a closed hood. Would installing an intake throw a cel? Coming from the Subaru camp, they did not like a CAI without a Cobb Access Port or some other tune.
  17. ITS into something more practical…?

Arrrg as much as it pains me to recommend another cuv to clog up our roadways, while Miata is always the answer, check out Mazda’s cx vehicles. Their interiors are near luxury level at half the price. Their handling won’t make you hate driving them. We had good luck with our cx-9 signature.
  18. ITS or other performance vehicle?

Mazda 3 hatchback near luxury interior for around $32k.
  19. Sticky/Jerky Steering issue

Does the ITS and CTR have a different rack? Are they exempt from this issue? I expect something like this from Ford and my Bronco not Honda.
