TLX A-Spec to TLX S = +$6750 (SHAWD price delta cancelled out)
MDX A-Spec to MDX S = +$8300 (SHAWD price delta cancelled out)
Integra A-Spec to ITS = +$6750 to $8300 (CVT to 6MT/10-speed auto priced in. Or add $2200 to prices below if you think ITS will come with SHAWD)
ITS (6MT/10-speed auto)...
Looking at the current ADM situation on the FL5, I expect Acura to flood the market with these to siphon sales away from greedy Honda dealers. The flagship TLX isn't selling, so I hope Acura will make an effort to make the ITS stand out, price and spec-wise.
Why does Honda do things like that. I'd give my left nut for a CAN-spec Si. You guys get the Si and the Integra, so there's no reason to spec them differently (CAN vs US), and we're practically the same country. Don't we buy 70% of the oil from Canada already? That should count for something? I...
It’s the same message (more concise) but as a corporate release (vs regional):

Their (Honda, Acura) current lineup is on schedule to be replaced by their EV equivalents at around 2026/2027. Namely, Civic, Integra, Accord, CRV!!!! I think the next TLX (2026?) will get the first crack as a luxury EV sedan after the ZDX (first luxury EV in SUV form).

Yes, the second phase is firmly in progress. There’s no turning back now. The partnership with GM (first phase) using the Ultium...
It’s underrated to sell the just-spied Type S, which should be around 260 hp to slot perfectly in between FL5 and Si. From a marketing standpoint, rating the Si/base Integra at 220 hp just doesn’t leave much room for an ITS.
You’re describing an ITR, which is not what the ITS will be. So Acura will probably come up with something less than what we expect. Acura will not introduce a Type S with more than 100+ hp than the base (200 hp). It’ll either be 252 hp (from the Accord) or 272 hp (from the base TLX, best case...
There’s nothing on that list that’ll make me take the A-Spec over a Canadian-spec Si. Maybe the lumbar support, that’s it. The Canadian Si is a bargain compare to the USDM Si and base Teg.
Select the interior color you like the most as you’ll be looking at it when driving. Ignore the exterior color as you won’t be able to see it when driving. Win win!
The reveal makes a 300+ hp Type S (slotting above the CTR) impossible. The 10-speed 252 hp combo in the current Accord is really nice. Every Accord 2.0T owner swears by it. It just needs a shorter and lighter car to take full advantage of it.
Did we miss ASpec getting Brembos, 2-piece rotors, 19” wheels, and 235/35/19 tires due to some inconsequential CVT news? The wheel size alone would generate a 10-page thread in the CivicXI forum. ASpec (6MT) is the sweet spot, IMHO. Anything less, get the Si.:drive:
Let’s set some low expectations on HP numbers so we don’t get disappointed. Base: 1.5T, 200 hp. Type S: 2.0T, 252 hp.
I don’t foresee a Type S slotting above the Type R as far as power output. They may be priced similarly, within 2k?
“The New Integra was never meant to be "Retro" says Acura. It was always meant as an ILX replacement but because ILX sales sucked so bad in the latter years that, from a marketing standpoint, it would’ve been corporate suicide to name it ILX. So we resurrected the Integra name to drum up sales...
I rewatched the livestream and he said “available 6-speed manual and limited slip differential”. I was wondering if some other Acura official said “standard” in case I missed it. I’m sure higher trims will offer LSD but was hoping to see it on a base model.
