I have the same spoiler and ended up using all the bolt holes plus double sided tape and added rubber washers as well. It's definitely not going anywhere.
One thing I wish I did before installation is wrap it in ppf because after a few months, there is some clear coat fading on the ends. Too...
Maybe they can send you some! My spoiler came with screws and tape (I used my own tape though). Otherwise maybe a trip to Home Depot or hardware store to grab a few hex head screws.
I believe the stock spoiler just had clips and some adhesive, not screws. The EOS spoiler aligns with the stock holes in the hatch, and comes with screws. I secured it with screws and 3M adhesive tape.
Update from the EOS CF spoiler I purchased in January - the edge has started to dull or cloud. Not sure if this is the clear coat failing or something else. My car is garage kept and is never sitting out in the sun for long periods of time. To compare, I have Jogon carbon mirror caps that are...
I noticed the same exact sound on my car a few weeks ago, after the steering recall was done. However, I can't say for sure if the sound was present before the recall.
I don't notice any change in steering feel like you mentioned, just that "thunk" sound when I wiggle the wheel back and forth.
I just installed the Extreme Online Store CF spoiler yesterday. Here are some pics.
I can't compare to the OEM CF version because I haven't seen one in person, but in pics it does look like it sticks out a bit more. But I think it suits the rear end nicely.
Some install tips:
The oem middle...
Over last few weeks finished my interior. Carbon fiber matte overlays from Jogon, and a new steering wheel cover that I stitched on myself. It cost $15 and a few hours of my time, and I think it came out looking great. Stitched right over the factory leather and specifically made for our...
How did you attach the mount to the rear floor? I have a very similar setup with an older RL wheel. I used panel body adhesive, and found that with the hot summer weather it eventually came off. Could have also been from just daily driving. I've since reattached it with the same adhesive...
I wanted to make that recent one at Babylon, but wasn't able to. Hopefully next time!
I'm pretty much bone stock, don't have any plans to do anything major. But a cruise would be cool if we can find some more local people!
Just wanted to share what my plans are for this winter. Was deciding between stock wheels and all seasons vs a dedicated set of tires like many in this group.
I decided to go with a dedicated set. Ordered these on Tire Rack, 18x8 +32 ASA wheels with 235/40 Cooper Zeon All Season tires (they'll...
I believe it's designed this way to drive water away from the driver when opening the door. I read about it on another forum, I don't recall where, but totally normal. I have it as well.
Have the same issue. Dealer replaced run channel, same problem persists.
Dealer also stated the window needs room to move to go up and down which I understand, but the driver side window is the only one that rattles like crazy. I also tried some spray lube and didn't fix the issue.
Thanks. I tend to agree - this one just caught my attention because of the location. The other one is smaller, located on the bottom of the driver's door and doesn't bother me.
I need to learn to just enjoy the drive lol.
I discovered a few paint nibs or dust / contamination and was wondering if it's repairable, or would need to be fully repainted. I don't want to open a can of worms if it's going to be work than it's worth. The one that bothers me most is right smack in the middle of the hood.
Any ideas on if...
I curbed a wheel within a week of owning my ITS, and I'm not even sure how I did it. I was really annoyed and determined to repair it myself, so this is what I did:
- Purchased primer, paint, and clearcoat from Scratches Happen. I used Honda Modern Steel Metallic paint code after researching...
