For sure. The "Geometric Dot Metal" finish on the dash garnish would've blended perfectly for that shifter surround. Sucks Acura didn't realize this and released the cars with this safety hazard.

100%. This thing is a huge mistake by Acura. I literally use my right hand to block the blinding reflection I get when the sun hits it. Ridiculous.
#20 in the diagram above and look at it's official description by Acura...
"PLATINUM CHROME PLATING"
How did they think that would be a good...
The Honda oil is the exact same thing. Most often times with Honda and Acura fluid part numbers, you'll see an A at the end of the number designating Acura whereas for Honda it's just the part number without any A at the end...but again, same exact fluid/formula and safe to use.

We got our first LCM Type-S in the other day, car is already sold...here are a few pics of this beauty. Makes me imagine my own A-Spec in this form...
The $5k mark up is (shamefully) still going on here. Hopefully once we get a few more of our allotment out, the sales team will come to their...
Perfect, thank you for the clarification. Really appreciate you helping out the community here.
I'm just going to assume (against my better judgement) that Acura has decided not to include that LED module for the ambient strip in the door panel in their parts catalog. I've found the modules...
Care to explain any further? What part is A010?
What I, in particular am trying to determine is what part you replaced in the door panel. It's clear that whatever you did had an effect on the ambient strip within the panel changing it from white to red....what I'm curious about is what exactly...
These are the installation instructions for the black Type-S emblems...I've only included the pages for the front emblem. Hopefully this helps the community get a better understanding of how the emblem is affixed. As shown above in the diagrams I posted, the emblem is attached to the front...
The Type-S emblem in the front grille is held on by two small screws that attach from the rear of the emblem onto a mounting plate that is part of the assembly. The emblem has the threads on the back of it to accept those two small screws....
#14 is your emblem and #15 are the screws.

Very much looking forward to seeing your progress, Bobby. I'm living vicariously through you and your LCM ITS in my LCM A-Spec (no shame) and really cised to see those Art Work pieces on your ride!

Funny, our demo (as are most others) has the launch edition full accessory package installed and our ADM is $5k over making it the same $64k asking price...it's been sitting on our show room floor for almost 2 months...wonder why.

Thanks for the feedback. I've edited my original post to be more clear about the warranty risks. I'm not saying Acura will outright deny your warranty, just saying that the possibility exists due to using oils not specified under the maintenance contract on those services. Sorry for any...
I believe Acura will keep the Integra for awhile...whether that be in ICE form or transitioning to a Hybrid powertrain down the line, they will keep it in the lineup.
Why bring the car back from a 22 year hiatus just to have a 4-6 year model run? As mentioned above, the 11th gen Civic has been...
Interesting news here. I recall a recent article about Honda re-obtaining trademarks for both the Prelude and CRX names (albeit just for merchandise according to them) but with the article above, could be possible that these might be some of the "new" EV models to come from Honda....

Your dealer will be putting the "barrel oil" in your vehicle for the maintenance service. All dealers have contracts with their local fluid suppliers and only use bottled fluids when asked by the client. This applies to the oil only, if you need something like brake or power steering fluid...
We have had a handful of clients here who have the same issue. Some worse than others where moisture is collecting beyond the door sills. We have replaced both the body seal as well as the door seal (either/or) depending on the circumstance and have not heard anything further from the client...
