I reserved a Red+Ebony 6MT on April 20 and still waiting for a build. Yeah it’s frustrating but the way it works is you’re not ordering a hamburger. Acura is going to build what it wants and allocate those to dealers.
if what you reserved comes to the dealer and you’re next in line you should...
I cross-shopped with the Audi A5 Sportback. That car was on the top of my list when I started looking last year. This was before the Integra was even unveiled so that wasn't even my radar. At the time I was interested in the Civic Si and Civic hatch and wondered why there was no Civic Si hatch...
From page 164 of the manual, it’s the hatch unlock button:
As I understand it, it doesn’t unlock the other doors, just the hatch.
It just means it starts the engine and you have to hold the button.
It doesn’t seem like actual buyers regret their purchases, especially given the availability, markups, and decontenting of the closely related Civic Si.
but maybe once a Type S is announced that’ll ignite some buyers remorse.
Well, apparently the system in the integra can’t playback real surround sound. Just it’s own simulated-from-stereo DTS 3D or whatever it’s called:https://www.quadraphonicquad.com/forums/threads/tested-acura-integra-stereo.32588/
Seems like a side effect of using the civic infotainment instead...
I don’t have an answer yet but when I get mine, I plan to try out some 5.1 surround sound albums. I found this thread about the ELS Studio 3D on the RDX. Apparently it can play 5.1 WAV or FLAC from a USB drive...
Yep, really looking forward to the Red. Frankly I like all of the exterior colors a lot but Red is my clear favorite. Not too disappointed in the wait - When I missed out on the initial March reservations, I expected it would take 4-6 months for a car no matter what color it was. So it was...
I had Civic HB Sport Touring 6MT on my list to check out, and the 180HP would probably be enough, but it I wanted an actual color and it comes in black, white, and gray. I feel like integra checks all my boxes
Glad to hear yours works well. I don’t remember if auto was enabled. Honestly I didn’t think too much of it at the time since it was someone else’s car (mine hasn’t been built yet) but I was just checking if it was a widespread issue. Could have been driver error for sure!
Thanks. Acura does spec it as .2 cubic feet less than the civic HB so I know it’s not identical in every dimension. I don’t have an integra yet, just took some rough measurements at the dealer, and 40 is what I wrote down. It might be a little more, but I know it’s not less.
I assume the 2023 is using the new R1234yf refrigerant while my 2012 would still have R134a. From basic googling the new stuff should still work just as well, but I’m curious what owners think.
I noticed test driving the demo car that the A/C seemed weak, compared to my 2012 MDX. The integra was already on the coldest temp (68 I think) when I started it up, but it wasn’t super cool and didn’t really change over 30 minutes or so. Thought it might just be that car but just saw some A/C...
