I just checked. The splash guards are gloss black so it’ll match the other gloss black on any of the cars. The body side molding is paint color specific though I doubt they’ll make one for the tiger eye.
Along the accessory lines…I installed the splash guards which look great with MBP since they are MBP for all I assume. I hated to lose the clean lines without, but living in the city with trucks required the body side molding. Thankfully with black they tend to blend in and don’t look as bad as...
1000% on rattles/interior noise. I had a 20/22 WRX that both rode worse and much louder even after I spent hours sound proofing with dynomat and making numerous modifications to get 85% of the fit/feel of the type s. I had a 22 GR86 that rode much firmer too that was much noisier and spent money...
I posted these on another thread. Fit/finish is decent for Marysville. I do have the seat belt adjuster rattle that can be heard when I go over 3k rpm’s on the passenger side. I’ll be dampening both sides soon. When I was going 80+ with 4k rpms I had a vibration that sounded like it was coming...
Not really. The wheel well is raised with thicker sound dampening/rigidity material and is only like 4” deep. If you stuck a spare there your floor would not be even at all. You would be better off sticking the spare on top of the mat and that would cut down on your other storage space. They...
I have a type s and just checked. There is no threaded receiver and the area is raised to not even fit a spare. Spare tire kit is going back. You would lose storage space and the floor would be uneven.
Interesting. I forgot about the brake calipers. I went ahead and got the a spec wheel kit. 06421-3S5-A10. Just got it and it comes with Jack/spare/foam topper that will allow the spare to fit. You would just have to fit the spare in the back and roll a tire up front if you have a blowout for one...
Just bought the black/black type s from Mungenast. Absolutely no fit/fitment issues by the head light or paint issues. My local Acura in Nashville had nearly all their integras with misaligned panels so that is a major relief for me. OTD was $52,595 + $199 doc fee. They matched a Nashville...
The confirmation we were all waiting for from Savage Geese…open and shut. Type S better for daily driving and faster than Type R. Acura seems to have a winner on their hands, and the reviews will only make this thing harder to get fortunately/unfortunately.
Anyone get the ability to finalize a bill of sale yet? Found out vin assigned to St Louis on Auto Trader before salesman so don’t know that he gets news faster than this forum.
Super helpful. Where did you come across these and any chance they know part numbers for the titanium shift knob, all season mats/tray for type s? I’m trying to avoid paying msrp for accessories since we’re getting up charged $600 for paint?!
