  1. Type S exhaust note issue on sport+

P0129 is engine over speed. This code can not be permanently cleared. At this point means you have no powertrain warranty. Likely a miss shift and caused the engine to over rev
  2. Installation of black emblems cost outrageous

The price is ridiculous , but the labor does warrant it. The whole front Fascia needs to come off which is no easy task. I thought about doing it myself but there is just to much risk for me in damaging paint or breaking clips. These are the instructions for the lighted but really no different...
  3. Homelink Alternatives

This^ , its where the money is at. I bet we will start to see more manufactures do the same thing and possibly other options. I remember when BMW tossed around the idea of subscription based CarPlay and heated seats I think.
  4. Weird trade-in values

Very True , at least for us the ITS is still a very rare model. I have yet to see another on the road where I live. I think the supply and interest rates are bringing the market somewhat back to where it used to be.
  5. Weird trade-in values

Its also dependent on where you live, I traded my 23 A-Spec Tech in August for over 32K
  6. Adjustable Ambient Cabin Lighting

This ^ .....The Integra only has white LEDs, The TLX, RDX, and MDX have RGB LED lighting hence they are capable of all kinds of colors. Also as others said the Integra is basically Hondas infotainment and not Acuras that the use in the other models.
  7. Scuffed bronze rim - S type

Same here with rock chips. I have one on my ITS rim and 3 on my RDX. So it does seem Acuras paint they use on the rims chips very easily. I have 1k miles on my ITS and 5k on my RDX.
  8. 2024 Civic Type R vs 2024 Integra Type S Exhaust Comparison

https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/integra-type-s-exhaust-swappable.52758/ https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/integra-type-s-ecu-tune.52499/ A lot of posts claim it comes from the tune on the ITS.
  9. 2024 Civic Type R vs 2024 Integra Type S Exhaust Comparison

The 1.5 and the 2.0 are totally different, the pops and bangs are way more pronounced in the ITS sports plus mode (only happens when the vehicle is warm which would indicate a ECU controlling the pops and bangs). I get what you're saying with the valve , what the Acura tech said makes sense as...
  10. 2024 Civic Type R vs 2024 Integra Type S Exhaust Comparison

Could be , but the service tech at Acura stated that it sports plus the ECU adjust parameters on the release of the throttle after the vehicle is warmed up this is where the pops come from. So I’m not sure
  11. 2024 Civic Type R vs 2024 Integra Type S Exhaust Comparison

Part of the reason the integra sounds different , when in sport plus and the vehicle is warm the ECU adjusts parameters to give you the pops and bangs. Good video
  12. Weird knock sound

I stopped by the service dept and they said the same, stated it was a very common from the Vacuum recovery. Spot on man.
  13. Weird knock sound

So after the the engine is warm and idling if you press the brake and release you can hear a weird knock sound for a few seconds then it disappears. Has anyone else had that? i seen on the type r forums others have had this...
  14. Sprint/Spoon Drop-in Filter for the Integra Type S

Im not auguring , I just clearly pointed out there are downsides to these filters. At the end of the day it's your choice. I had a friend have kia deny his warranty claim , they referred to the page where it states no modifications and OEM like parts are used. Like others have said remove the...
  15. Accidentally deleted all my engine DTCs from the ECU

While you can't undo it , there is no harm in clearing them. The dealer may have done it anyway, to see if they would come back. If there is an actual problem with the sensor, the CEL will come back on.
  16. Sprint/Spoon Drop-in Filter for the Integra Type S

I have explained this in previous posts, sometimes it very easy for manufactures to prove a fault. Instead of copying and pasting from K&N website search reddit or another forum on people that had warranty work denied from K&N and other performance filters. Like @ZeroGSR stated swap it back to...
  17. Sprint/Spoon Drop-in Filter for the Integra Type S

Fram, STP, Purolator are the same as OEM paper filters, Cotton Guaze or synthetic foam are not that's the difference
  18. Sprint/Spoon Drop-in Filter for the Integra Type S

I get it's your own choice , The hood has nothing to do with the dust, Most cars suck air from the hood edge or fender. You don't need to drive through a sand dune, I can drive the car down the road and my vehicle is covered in dust already, so you are sucking in that dust. Ive seen first hand a...
  19. Sprint/Spoon Drop-in Filter for the Integra Type S

yeah there's downsides and upsides to everything. Hopefully this thread does give people some insight though. At the end of the day its your vehicle if you like the sound go for it, just maybe change you oil more often. Just beware you can get a denied warranty claim because of it, is it no...
  20. Sprint/Spoon Drop-in Filter for the Integra Type S

I will add that some will say it will not void there warranty, I will say this is completely false. All the manufacture has to do is prove that the filter was letting in more particles than a OEM filter that can be contributed to a failure. Whether this is from oil analysis or picture inside the...
