Actually, the Kia products have many more luxury features than the Integra. They include a pano sunroof, vented seats, heated steering wheel etc. It is a bigger car than the Integra (I prefer the Acura's size) and it's not stick, which is the only reason I'm here. Otherwise, I'd have no...
I had a 2012 Optima Hybrid - very impressive vehicle with a ton of features. My sister bought it after the lease and it was flawless for 6 years. She sold it when she moved out of the country and still misses that car 4 years later. The Optima/K5 are in another league from the Fortes.
As a long-time owner of a 2007 TSX 6MT, and probably my favorite car ever, remember that was based off an Accord, not a Civic.
You do raise a good comparision with the ILX pricing, but even in today's market nobody should be paying sticker for an ILX.
Not loving the pricing - $37,3XX for the blue manual is almost as high as mid-30's can get while still being accurate. I also have a Civic Si on order, which stickers at $28,3XX but includes $1,500 of garbage. A $9,000 delta seems high for what's included.
Timing and pricing may determine...
Thanks for the additional info! The orchid suede is certainly one of the things I'm questioning most with this car. But I really want the Apex Blue so forging ahead!
Ha, that's cool! If the Type R pops back up, let me know and I'd be happy to lay eyes on it for ya.
Good luck with your hunt and let us know if you get any more details on the Type S!!
Was this Montgomeryville Acura? Their website says one of the few selling Acuras at MSRP. Ironically, when I went to order my Integra this dealer was not an option on the site despite being second closest to me.
After no word from my dealer for a week and a half, I contacted them. They didn't seem to know my reservation number, and it sounds like they only had two orders. They had no details on delivery timeline.
I ordered on 3/13 and didn't get the NFT. Interesting to gauge how many orders they've actually received.
Given the above messages and wanting to keep my options open come delivery in case the car or deal underwhelms, I'm not too sad I didn't get the NFT!
If anyone goes to this show, check to see if the car comes with Homelink. Acura was a no show to the recent Philly auto show and that feature isn't listed in the specs so I'm guessing no.
