I called them and they said they had booked their allocations for the year already and would honor MSRP with 500 deposit. It would be next year however before it comes in.

Exactly! So you still have to work your deals out beforehand. I have mine in writing for MSRP at my dealer and the other local one to me is doing $2500 dealer add ons. So I’m just going to reserve one online at the same place I have my deal at. All these ppl who want to reserve online without...

So are you going to place the online reservation at other dealers that you haven’t put deposits at? Are the dealers where you place these orders still able to charge over MSRP? That would suck to place one only to have them pulling that ADM crap out once it arrives.

I’ve also been told that only 200 will be available for launch. My dealer told me they will only be allocated 5 thru the end of the year. That seems very low to me. What I’m not sure of is if dealers are able to convert their deposits into online reservations once they open up. My salesman said...

Wow, I talked to them about two weeks ago and was also told 1k non refundable but ADM was undetermined. I went with Sterling McCall Acura at MSRP but with added $1495 dealer add ons like tint, interior protection ect. It’s a ripoff but at least it’s not a straight ADM for nothing.

i wonder if anyone has any idea of the Type S’ bolt pattern. Im sure they will stick with 5x114.3 but wouldn’t be surprised if the go with the 5x120 of the CTR.

Do you have the part number for these? I’m gonna have to do the 3 rear seat swap along with the rear A/C and USB once I get my Type S. I know many FK8 guys have done that swap.
