Yes but I'm trying my hardest to avoid the snow and salt so I'm cutting back on office days lol.
I actually have the PRL on now and have been running it for roughly a year. I find it to be tolerable. Is it that noticeably different with Wanderladen?
For sure! I'm the same so I take more consideration with real world enthusiast input. It's harder with these types of mods because I'm sure there's some variance and everyone's individual tolerances are different. I recall some owners found the PRL to be intolerable but I thought it was just...
I have the Wanderladen sitting on my work bench ready to install. I recall Humza at Unity mentioned that it was smoother (not his exact words, I'm paraphrasing) than the PRL, which is what prompted me to order the Wanderladen version. Don you're findings are the opposite?
I have the Jogon sitting in the box and I'm VERY hesitant to run it because the sides are a bit too aggressive for my liking. I was hoping the pictures were just exaggerating the profile but it is really bad in real life too.
The only reason I'm still holding on to the Jogon is because I'm...
I felt this. I'm in a constant state of modding and adjustment to the car to get the "feel" right. What was perfect today is off-balance tomorrow.
I spend more time with my hands in the tool box than playing catch with the kids. Nights are spent in the garage instead of with my wife. My life is...
I prefer an extended testing phase vs a rushed release. Acuity did the same for their shifter kit and we were all better for it in the end. Thank you for the update Maya, looking forward to the finalized product!
This tracks, Jester is just an overall great person and we're blessed to have him in the community. Even the base map he provides is nearly perfect, which means a lot coming from a self-proclaimed nit-picker like me.
Second the vote for Kroil. I just finished my last drop from the 1 gallon can I bought 15 years ago. I plan to re-up but I remembered how expensive the stuff was. Still going to buy though.
That was actually one of the driving forces behind getting rid of the piano black and chrome.
Dream Automotive Teardrop in gunmetal. Then some red enamel paint for the engraved shift pattern...
I recall that piece was absurdly priced for what it is. Like $50 or something before shipping and tax. If I knew what I knew now, I would have just sprayed the factory piece the same as I did with the other pieces instead of buying the Type R piece.
I wanted to share this recent mod I did on my Type S shifter trim in case any A-Spec owners wanted to get some ideas to try and freshen up the shifter area a little. Prior to that I was running a wrapped piece but the wrap is starting to bind, which is what prompted me to paint. Plus I wanted...
I'm not sure about the prices now, but for the price of one of those knobs you could get a used HVAC unit with all 3 knobs intact from the HRV and 23+ Accord off of eBay.
Still a pricey proposition for aesthetics.
