The way it was explained to me by the mechanic, the worm wheel is only an issue because of the lack of greese (leading to a temperature change, followed by the swelling). With the added grease, the swelling, in theory, shouldn't happen.

I get it done this thursday. They said that it can take up to 5 hours, so they are putting me in a loaner.

They'll only admit to as much as they have been caught for. There are people that the rod bearing issue on the v6 acuras from 15-20 that are being told that their vin doesn't qualify.

I’m wondering the same thing because the 19 in wheels are my next upgrade and I would like to have them beefier to fill the gap. People selling them on eBay have 235/35/19, so I know that works, but I wonder if going wider on the sidewall will affect the adaptive dampers.

That is pretty tasteless. I'm in a loaner TLX A spec right now while waiting for my steering wheel to be installed. There is nothing on it to let you know that it is a loaner.

No. That sound is the result of actual gears revving high/ and or hanging. The cvt is just a belt on pulleys. The setup is trying to hide the drone of the cvt belt. I'm not sure you will like what you get. I heard it on the wrx cvt inside and out and it was like one loud humming sound. No burble...
