they look less bolstered than my Si seats which are decent but the type S should be a step up from Si regarding seats IMO. Won’t be a deal breaker for me but still a little sad. I do think that’s a big enough reason for me to choose CTR over ITS if I had a shot at a CTR at/near MSRP …. But since...
Sunroof is such a “love or hate” that it should be an option. Many cars have it as an option so folks can choose.
I like the styling overall…. Inside looks fine but I’ll stick with black. The fenders are a little Charger widebody (read: afterthought) but I’m okay with them.
The seats are the...
What I’m getting from this is that I should definitely try to be #1 on the list and then just see what happens b/c ymmv regarding specifics … I would accept a number of different color/option combos so I may just accept whatever they get delivered unless it’s my dead last preference.
knowing...
i did a search but didn’t turn anything up. Is this a process acura has used before? Trying to familiarize myself so I can take care of it quickly when it pops up. Is ittypically like a midnight opening? Does it require an account? Any other pro tips?
thanks! I did a search and didn’t see this “online order” method nor have I ever done that for a new car in the past. Seems weird it’s on Acura’s site and not everyone doing it that way. I think Cadillac did something like this with their blackwings?
i have a deposit down at a dealership for...
I’ve said it before, but I hope the ITS doesn’t smooth off the edgy feel of the CTR too much. That involvement and connection is what makes it great.
I want aggressive seats. Please.
Don’t need harsh ride, smooth with a touch of body roll is fine by me.
Aero is likely hard for us to...
great car. hard to find. also my wife thinks of old people when I mention a caddy. oh well. I’ve had Camaro SS 1LEs and that chassis is reallllly good. ultimately if an ITS/CTR doesn’t work out for me I’ll probably go for a G80 M3 which I’m not wild or the design and honestly think would...
small children, quick trips... okay. still can fold down seats and put something like a bicycle back there. fun car would be the purpose but i just called a local dealership ... $10k over. no thanks.
yes! it seems like they've churned out a lot of integras ... i might have to go search and compare integras vs Sis.
heck of a garage you have, sir!
anyone going for the tiger eye paint? interesting but not really my flavor.
Ah ha! some details! Acura seems to have timed their info rollout better than Honda with the CTR. That seemed to drag out FOREVER or maybe i just watched it more closely. So far, i'm much more pleased with the ITS announcements. The exhaust seems a little more pop-crack compared to the CTR...
great points ... hoping you're right about the ITS and i hope it gets plenty supply to meet the demand. still eager to see the rest of the details. crossing fingers for some good news !
i was going to get an integra at MSRP ... but then i got offered an Si at sticker so i jumped on it. i like the integra and it's the obvious choice if the Honda is over sticker and the Acura is MSRP... but the Honda does have the stuff i care about the most (motor, manual being #1 and #2)...
I am a little concerned they'll soften the seats up too much. i think the ITS should have some aggressive seats... slightly less aggressive than the CTR would be acceptable to me, but i hope they're a lot more aggressive than in my Si (which i hear are more sporty than the current integra)...
$47k would be great ... i still think unlikely considering the big gap between Si/Integra ... a "luxury apponited CTR" seems like it will command more of a price jump ... BUT if things like sunroof and premium audio are ~$1000 options then that might make sense. lower price is always better!
this would be great! a couple months doesn't make a big difference but getting it earlier in the summer would let me squeeze in a couple track days before fall.
the m240i is really nice — I probably couldn’t pull it off (or get approval from my wife) butI’d support it verbally.
the salesman where I put in my order said he expected people to be able to order cars to their specs. I think with the CTR (and integra a spec?)dealerships “get what they get”...
