Hi Steve, please accept my apologies for being away from the forum.
My issue right now is I don't need four wheels. I wonder if there is a compromise that works for both of us? Matt
I had a bad day yesterday. In order to avoid having a person hit my car, I moved to the right and scraped a curb. One wheel is 3/4 around the edge. I'm looking for two but would settle for one.
If the sale doesn't go through, I had a bad day yesterday. In order to avoid having a person hit my car, I moved to the right and scraped a curb. One wheel is 3/4 around the edge. I'm looking for two but would settle for one.
It is about to be end of month and end of year. Tell a dealer $2k off MSRP (or pick a number) and close by 12/31/2023. Of course you have to have the finances in place to do it. I bet a few dealers will play. They are trying to hit their numbers. Show no mercy.
The first owner did not mount the CT plate. I asked that it not be done, too, which they honored. On another car, I had a sticker printed that was made from a jpg of the regular plate. Further away than 20' you can't tell the plate is a sticker. There was not enough room on the ITS bumper cover...
Dealers paperwork is accepted as is. If a private seller is selling a 2024 ITS for $24k, it'll get flagged and the DMV will say the tax is higher. But there is a minor loophole: If the seller signs an addendum on the transaction saying they sold it at a low price it can go through. But the DMV...

The important part:
Private sale
Passenger vehicles and light duty trucks purchased from private owners (not a dealership) are subject to sales tax of 6.35% (or 7.75% for vehicles over...
It is the state tax that goes from 6.375% to 7.75% above a selling price of $50,000. Jonathan was supposed to take care of me but the first day Brandon handed me off to John. Brandon never actually came over to say "hello" until the day I picked up the car (after two prior visits). But Brandon...
I got my ITS, 10/31/2023, as a used CPO car from Acura by Executive, in North Haven, CT. It had 1,015 miles on it and is Lunar Silver Metallic. $49,396 + $599 doc fee and tax and reg. One reason for the lowered price was to get the price under $50k because Connecticut charges at a higher tax...
I'm thinking since the CTR and the ITS are the new "twins" in autocross, it would stand to reason to put them in the same class unless weight or something else is a lot different then different classes could be needed.
