If you don't end up finding an exact match, what you can probably do is de-pin the other side and find a pair of matching male/female 2-pin connectors to use instead. Just need to make sure the size of the pins is the same as the original, as well as the pinning/depinning mechanism.
Interesting. Sure, thread me in. I wonder if anything has changed in the last year since I had mine made. But I'd be curious to see if mine is supposed to be all around and what can be done differently if possible. I'll PM you my email address so you can add me to the emails.
Excellent, I'm glad you were able to get it to work! Yeah, I didn't expect them to be very helpful. My understanding is they just sell the parts from a manufacturer, and the manufacturer doesn't care enough to be bothered with troubleshooting on a product once it's already sold. The manufacture...
Hopefully they can tell you something useful. When I asked them about a shaky side mirror after I installed their power folding kit, all they could tell me was "try tightening the screws", even after I told them I had triple checked all the screws.
Hmm. What happens if you try setting your resting position at the upper limit and then try again? My thought is you overcompensate for the tiny movement and hopefully get a bigger movement out of it and can adjust the resting position again at the end. Maybe the computer just needs to learn both...
I hear ya, tires are expensive. You could also look into getting a lightly used set, from someone who either sold their car or went a different route with tires. If you get all seasons with new wheels, you could offset the cost by selling your OEM wheel/tire set (just make sure to transfer the...
Having lived in Cincinnati through four winters, I can tell you definitely get yourself a set of proper snow tires. There are hills (especially if you live or drive anywhere near Clifton or OTR) and I can't tell you how many people I've seen from my apartment hit a tree or another car (or get...
That's the same issue I was having from what I remember. I had to play around with it and found that you have to hold the Mirror Down adjustment button before you shift into reverse. Then shift into reverse (while still holding the button) and keep it held down until it gets to the level you...
Yeah, hopefully with more seat time, you'll be able to do a more thorough test and see more consistent results. Definitely better than having nothing, although I still feel the heat even if I'm wearing a thin pair of gloves (I usually wear UnderArmour glove liners in winter).
I agree the shape...
Interesting - I just took some time to look through my videos and found that I have the opposite setup as you (red to purple, and black to black). Not sure whether this is worth mentioning, but the heat is only in 4 spots (10 and 2, and 7 and 5), and not the whole wheel like I would have liked...
I agree with you, it's not very hot and would be nice if it could be a bit hotter. And I think the thickness also plays a bit of a factor. My wife's RAV4, on the other hand, does get noticeably warmer. That said, I think the heated seats are also subpar in comparison to other cars and get "just...
Cool, yeah that's what I'd do if I wasn't me lol.
To clarify I meant is the harness coming out the side of the steering wheel, not the connector.
Because my harness came out from the side, I had to pay extra attention to make sure it didn't get in the way of the plastic trim closing...
I thought I did but I guess I only have a picture of the connection from Acura's wheel (see below) and a description of what I did. I ended up transferring that green connector to the TTDCraft wheel. I had some extra wires with similar sized pins laying around so I depinned it and soldered and...
The music and navigation audio use different scales and are independent of each other. If the nav audio is too quiet, you can increase the volume within 1-2 seconds after it speaks and that will update it (I believe it's out of 11). The music volume I believe is out of 40 and can be changed...
Everyone saying it's the shift lock release cover is correct. They are supposed to be installed during PDI but seems like this step is often overlooked.

I know people who swear by both ends of this (some who park in gear only with no parking brake, and others who park with parking brake only but no gear).
My 2 cents is this: while parking only in gear probably won't harm your transmission, a transmission is more costly to replace than a set of...
Sorry haha, I thought I was pretty clear on the total cost and what all goes into it. FWIW you can get at least some of your money back by selling just the wheel from the Acura kit, as well as your original wheel (took a little while but I was able to sell both).
