Interested to know why you want to replace DE5 OEM exhaust when it is already pretty darn good? I am interested just replacing the exhaust tips, maybe a carbon fibre option, but not the entire exhaust system.

So I am planning to replace stock tires with another summer set but want to go wider. Maybe 275/30. But curious to see how the 285/30 will look like. I live in GA so no need to winter set but plan to tune it next year so want better tire grips.

Agree 100%. 27won strut bar looks great and I just installed it. Of course the issue is the battery cable on the way. Another plus is the ability to install their brake brace that attaches directly to their strut bar.

The shop I used does repairs for European cars but they agreed to do my DE5. They charged me $650 for springs installation, wheel alignment and I also asked them to install 27Won strut bar. So my total is close to $1000. The H&R springs cost $300. But the Spoon lowering springs cost $600 so...

I think Comfort is now closer to Sport. I only drove it home from the shop to my home so about 10 miles of driving experience. I will drive it longer today, and through highways, so I will be able to let you know more tonight.

Installed the H&R springs today. Ride quality is slightly stiffer but not too much. Will add more driving experience after driving it more. Here is the pic.

I worked in product development all my life and it is very unlikely that H&R will come out with a DE5 specific springs. The amount of R&D and inventories will not justify for the small numbers of DE5 productions. If they decide to introduce one, my gut feeling is that they will just re-brand the...

Please send some pics when you have the new tires. I am lowering the car with H&R springs this Wednesday and then planning to buy 275/30 19 tires. But would love to see how the 285/30 19 will look on the ITS.

Added tints on tail lights. And replaced the oil cap with Spoon oil cap. I thought the Spoon oil cap complements the metallic Acura logo. Waiting for the Spoon radiator cap as well.

I have bought the springs and waiting ro install them. The shop won’t be able to do it until mid September. I will post some pics and my drive observations soon after.

I am buying the H&R and will try them. Thinking about either using the stock wheels and tires or stock wheels but with 275/30-19 tires. Never use spacers so still anxious about using them. Any thoughts if the 275 tires will work the same as getting 15/20mm spacers?

Agree with that. Plus the Sales Manager, Charles, said that they do not take a deposit now since the waiting list is so long and they cannot guarantee delivery timing. So if that is still true, then there is no reason not to put your name on the list.

PRL also has one for FL5 that fits DE5 but availability not until mid August. You can get just the filter or the full stage 1 intake replacement. There is also a stage 2 version coming.
